My name is ********************* and my husband and I hired ***************************** to remodel home. The remodel started 9/4/2020. ***** walked away from the project 2/23/2022. There was E and E plumbing that ***** brought into project to complete plumbing work. The first **** from E and E came on 8/6/2020 and was paid and last **** was 7/27/2021. The **** came for 7/27/2021 only after ***************************** with Tristan ************ left our home 2/23/2022 and we obtained counsel. A demand letter was sent to ***** no response. There was a question for a plumbing **** ***** gave to us on 9/7/2020 on his stationary not E and E invoice. When we questioned contractor he never gave us a clear answer on charge. I feel like we were double billed thru ***** and then again billed with E and E plumbing. With these ********************* charged an additional 20 percent both times. I contacted owner in person with my husband and asked for itemized **** and he will not give this to us. I went to E and E again and spoke with owners wife *** and she would not give this to me . She stated job was thru ***** and she would not itemize invoices we paid. The last invoice we received from E and E plumbing dated 7/27/2021 was given to us only after we sought counsel with *************************** an attorney on 4/7/2022. The day we moved into home after one year living elsewhere the plumbing backed ** in our home in all sources. A few days later E and E came out to find out that their connection to clean out was blocked by a pipe placed years ago. This incident all parties agreed this was an error with e and e and we would not be charged. ***** agreed and no **** was sent to us until 4/7/2022. The home was known to have issues in the past all plumbing was replaced by E and E. We spent thousands in the past with different plumbing companies due to numerous problems. Replacement of all pipes was to fix all mishaps. ***** and I had a long discussion that the warranty for E and E should at least be I day. Please advise *********************Business response

This is *********************** with E&E Plumbing; my company was hired by Tristan ************ to replace the plumbing under the ******** raised home (along with an interior renovation). We were not contracted or asked to replace or inspect the existing underground sewer system. The problem that caused the sewer backup was in the underground sewer line, that was broken by a wood stake driven into a pipe, when a water fountain was installed years prior. E&E found this problem, repaired & the ******** were very pleased.
Mr. and ***************** came to our office in June to complement E&E for our work & to request documents sent to ********************************************** Since E&E was contracted by Triston ************ & not the ********, we asked that they get all correspondence directly from him. We then contacted Tristan ************ to inform them of what the ******** were requesting. E&E Plumbing completed all of the plumbing we were hired to do in a professional & timely manner; I believe that the ******** are in a monetary dispute with Tristan ************ which doesn't involve E&E Plumbing or the work we performed.
