      Poor Customer Service. We bought a sectional sofa from the Baton Rouge location with an understanding that there was a lifetime warranty on the product. We were told that they did not deliver to our area in Thibodaux, LA. We decided to bring our sofa home on our own. Once we got the sofa home, we were unable to connect the pieces of the sectional together because the sofa was missing the pieces that connect in order to make the sofa 'one'. We reached out to La Z Boy to see if they could send someone out to fix this as it seems that the sofa was given to us without these important little connector pieces. Not only did the sofa come without these connector pieces in some areas, but the sofa was just not sturdy especially the reclining pieces. It seems as if the wood was in the interior of the sofa was maybe not attached properly. Overall, the sofa pieces did not connect, nor was the sofa solid like the sofa that we looked at in the store. This should have been covered by the warranty. When we contacted the person who sold us the sofa at the Baton Rouge Location, *****, we were informed that ***** told us that we were outside of the service area. We would have to pay $250 dollars for someone to come out to look at the sofa then another $250 dollars for them to come back out to fix it because were outside of the service area. No one ever told us that being outside of the delivery area for the store meant that we were outside of the service area which means that in order for us to take advantage of having this 'lifetime warranty' that they sold us on, we would need to pay a hefty $250 for them to come out. I feel as though the conditions should have been clearly stated by ***** prior to us buying the sofa. She says she told us that we were outside of the delivery area. We did not realize that this means that we were outside of the service area also. We are now stuck with a sofa that doesn't function properly unless we give them $500 or more to come out and fix it.

      I purchased a reclining sofa June 2020. Three days after delivery I went back to the store and told an associate it is very uncomfortable. He told me it's new and I had to sit on it for a while. I called several times to complain to no avail. I went to my local store here in Texas and was given a 800 number to call. They sent out a technician to access the issue. He agreed you can feel the boards but when he wrote his notes up he stated no defects per Michelle in Customer service. I called corporate they created case # 638949. Escalated to corporate and upper escalating team they offer no assistance. Called Rachel at the Baton Rouge office she offered to add cushions at no charge however I would have to rent a truck and drive 4 hours to drop the sofa off. I purchased the sofa for $3,800.00 I still owe $2,400.00. I asked for an exchange for something different using the whole amount of $3800.00 I just want to be comfortable sitting on my expensive sofa!

      LazBoy sold me a recliner that was NOT is stock. Offered me the floor model for the same price. No thanks! Will never shop here again after waiting over 1-1/2 hours. Refused to give me any paperwork saying this order was cancelled after I signed a paper stating that I was receiving this recliner. 1/2 Star would be a better rating for this experience.
