My family used Home Instead in Alexandria, LA for sitter services for my Dad who has Parkinson's. The first day, the service sent a lady who was in poorer health than my Dad. She was not able to perform any of the duties asked of her. My Dad, who had my uncle visiting, was found wet and said not one single duty was performed by the sitter when my step Mom returned home. I wrote an email to the owner, ******** Polito, about the lack of service we rec'd on the first day. She called and sd she was surprised to hear this but agreed to send someone else. The following days, they sent another sitter who was able to perform all of the duties asked of her. We gladly paid for the 2nd sitter but do not agree to pay for the 1st sitter. When I called, the owner, ******* Potito, screamed at me and he was sending me to collections for not paying $100. I just want to be sure this doesn't happen. How can I protect my and my Dad's credit? Thanks for your help, ****** *********Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2021/09/13) */ Although we dispute Mrs. Alexander's complaint in its entirety.. we have decided not to pursue this matter any longer. No further action will be taken by this office to be compensated for the services rendered.
