      In March of 2021 my residence was damaged by a storm, that included damage to the roof and siding. After working with the insurance company, they agreed to cover the damaged section of roof, along with the surrounding area as to maintain a consistent look. They also agreed to replace the siding on one side of the house. I signed a contract with Woodall to repair the damages, which included fascia metal replacement, 16 squares of shingles, and siding for the whole side. After they said they had completed the work, a check was paid and cashed, and the initial contract was modified to reflect the additional work that still needed to be completed. In speaking with the insurance company, it was determined that Woodall only replaced 6 squares of shingles, leaving an additional 10 squares not done. They also did a horrific job on the siding around the electrical box, leaving it suseptible to water damage as it was not covered (see attached pictures for details). From November through January, I attempted to contact their representative to have the rest of the work completed, though he would not respond. In January I began emailing additional employees at the office in hopes of getting the issues resolved. A quick response came from the office saying it would be taken care of as soon as possible. In February the replaced the additional 10 squares, leaving the roof in several different colors. They still had not completed the fascia metal or fixed the siding issue. I again emailed the company asking for them to fix the siding issue, along with the fascia metal and roof. After several months passed I reached out again, though they refused to answer. On 9/2/2022 I received a call from the owner after posting pictures of their terrible work and leaving a negative review. The owner was very rude, and said it was wrong for me to make the post. I would try and finish the work myself but I am disabled and unable to. Borderline criminal behavior.

      On the week of September 12-16, we returned to this customer's residence and replaced the two sections of fascia metal in question for the third time to try and satisfy the customer's issue.  We then returned to the residence on September 19th 2022 and fixed the issue with the J-Channel around the electrical base that was mentioned in the complaint that was making the house "uninhabitable."  That has also been corrected.  The issue with the shingles being 3 different colors was caused because we had to tie into an existing valley which caused new shingles to necessarily be installed on an elevation of roof that was not contracted to be replaced.  Because of this, I have ordered enough additional material to re-shingle this entire section of roof so as to eliminate the color variance on this particular slope of roof surface.  Those materials were ordered today, September 21st 2022 and are scheduled to arrive in approximately 1 week, at which point we will mobilize a crew to complete the 3rd scope of work that was mentioned in the complaint.

      Respondent stated it was the third time they have returned to fix the fascia metal. This is a lie. No fascia metal replacement was done prior to the week of 9/12/2022. In fact, when the roofers were here the first time in mid 2021, they removed additional fascia metal instead to complete part of the work. I have several time and date stamped photos over the last year which I would be more than happy to provide.  I also have a receipt for payment and a notation from the project manager stating the fascia metal had not yet been replaced but will be later. They did finally complete the channel around the electrical box on the date specified.  He mentions in this complaint that I stated the home was uninhabitable.  While this language was not used in this complaint, it was used when brought to the attention of the Dept. of Consumer Protection with the Attorney General’s Office, who investigates companies engaged in deceitful practices.  Along with that complaint was further photographs, emails, and text messages asking for you to complete the work for over a year, which of course was not done.  Regardless, the cavalier attitude with respect to water inside of the siding, for well over a year, on a wooden wall, where electrical panels and meters are installed is appalling. Additionally, if the respondent wishes to quote my complaint to them, they might want to use more than one word for context. Furthermore, the respondent states that the material has been ordered to finish the roof, and that work will be completed within the next couple weeks.  This is the first I have heard of this.  If they did not have the intestinal fortitude to contact me and tell me the same, then there is no way I can believe what they say until the work has been completed. Lastly, I will not have me or my name, as they have done here, diminished in any way because of the way you conduct business.  Your actions here will be responsible for what happens next.

      Although I do regret that we were not able to complete the project in a more timely manner, as of today this customer's work has been completed. The customer has expressed satisfaction in the final quality of work, and--though we may not agree on some of the finer details--we appreciate the opportunity to hear and respond to areas where we may have room for improvement. We appreciate this customer's business and welcome the opportunity to serve them again in the future.
