We hired the company to move us. We were told it would be 4 movers. Three arrived (they were great). The boss called & said the fourth would come soon & asked if we wanted to pay for an additional mover. We said yes. That additional mover drank from bottles of bourbon in our basement & robbed our house of several expensive bottles of bourbon & a play station. The company did not charge us for that mover, but stated we had to file an insurance claim even though their employee stole. We paid an additional fee to have the elliptical moved. A mover spent NINE hours taking apart the elliptical completely & reassembling it in our home. It does not work. The company only credited us for four hours. They did not claim responsibility for offering a service that they were unable to complete. Again, they are forcing us to go through a third party. We are asking for our $100 elliptical move charge refunded, a refund of 5 hours of moving, a company to fix our elliptical (elliptical cost thousands of dollars), a replacement of the bourbon that the employee drank, $500 for an additional truck/manpower to move additional items that the company was unable to move, and an apology. The company won’t return my phone calls. We understand going through insurance for damages, but we didn’t expect the company to deny responsibility for an employee robbing us and for their inability to complete a task they were hired for…..

We scheduled a move on 3/26 for Saturday, April 16. Upon scheduling the move, I signed the estimate and paid the $100 deposit. Estimate did not have any disclosures, only the amount of estimated hours, estimated cost and move information. The morning of the scheduled move, I received a phone call 10 prior to the arrival window (9am-9:30am) from ****** ******* stating they were looking for temp movers since people had called in and he would call me back no later than 9:30am. I did not receive a call and had to call him, he stated they founds temps and should arrive at my apartment at 11:30am. Two men arrived at 11:40am. One man appeared drunk and both seemed unknowledgeable as to what to do or what was going on. An hour into the move, one man stated to my partner and I that he had ********* and he drank heavily, all while burping loudly the entire time. In addition this unprofessional behavior, the men were taking 20 minute smoke breaks and declared, "we get paid by the hour". We called ****** to explain our displeasure and he assured us he would have supervisor meet us at our home and that he would "make the bill right'. When we arrived, the supervisor noted the inappropriate behavior, as well as damages to our couch and scratches on our floor. We promptly called ****** back once the move was complete and he stated the bill would be taken down from $650 to $350, not including the $100 I had previously paid. When I told him I was completely dissatisfied and not interested in paying any additional money for such incredibly horrid services, he threatened me with police action. I told him I'd pay $100 to cover the cost of ***** and gas on top of the $100 I had already paid and he agreed. Despite our verbal agreement, ****** charged my card on file for the $103 dollars AND an additional $319 without my consent, I called to ask why and he said my "refusal to pay" entitled to charge my card for the full bill amount of $650. We still have half our items to move ourselves.

Issue #1 - People-Move moving was hired to move ** ********* home possessions from Indiana to Louisville, Ky. This move was scheduled for June 4, 2021. I was quoted $1550 for a full move of her possessions to Louisville, Ky. End of the day, June 4th, I was charged $2006 and the job wasn't completed. I paid this charge in order to get the job completed. I had no leverage because they mis-judged the workload and left a garage full of furnishings behind at the move out location and we had to be completely out that weekend. Therefore they set up another truck for June 6th to complete the move. For this second move I was charged $853. The total was now $2859. A long way from the original estimate of $1550. Before paying for the second move, while standing in the garage with ******** (operation lead) who met the movers at the house, he and I called the owner Mr. ******* to resolve the matter. But it was a Sunday and nobody was in the office. He asked me to pay the bill, to release the mover / driver and he would look into it the following week. I never heard from him again even after repeated attempts to contact him. I have two email docs supporting this, on June 5 and June 9, 2021. Issue #2 - I filed a claim for damages to the walls of my home and for damages to three pieces of furniture, This was through there approved claims firm named *** ****, an independent claims handler. The claim ID: ******** was filled on July 6, 2021. My case Rep. is ****** *. ************. My emails from them state that resolution could take to up 120 days (4 months). It's now been 7 months with no word or resolution. In the meantime, we had our wall damage repaired at a cost of $600 ( I have documentation). We have yet to have anyone contact us regarding repairing damaged furniture. Can you help get us job over-charges refunded, wall repair costs reimbursed, and repairs made to damaged furniture ? Thank you, *** ****** ************

I contact the owner and tried to get a partial refund. in the end, I was not happy with the job they did and I don't feel like it was completed. Many of the items were left behind. While small boxes were brought over important things like TV's and chairs were left behind. The crew left trash (bottles, styrofoam cups) in the house. They left moving blankets and tools. They did not unwrap any of the furniture. When I had ******** over for the estimate it was a rough estimate of $2940. I paid 3,330 for an incomplete job. ******** informed me that the crew would be able to finish the job at the continued rate of $200 an hour. The lead guessed an additional 3 hours at $200 an hour. That's way over the estimate. I paid for packing and moving services and not all of the items were packed nor moved.
