  Sept. 2020 I went to the spa for a chemical peel and while I was there I decided to purchase a package of laser hair removal. Microneedling was recommended to me to improve skin texture so I purchased that as a package with chemical peels. I had been going to this clinic for 5 to 6 months and I saw improvement with my skin. A month and a half ago the settings on the laser hair machine was raised to maximum settings and my skin broke out with large red bumps tons of whiteheads and scaring. I was told it was not due to the settings and I was giving several other excuses. They provided me a facial to try to calm the skin down. I did another treatment same thing happened but worse larger bumps on the entire right side of my face brown dots discolored skin. I contacted the clinic and was advised to speak to the owner. I have called and emailed and no response. I have paid over 2000 dollars to improve my skin and it looks worse than when I came in. I also now have a double chin.

  I apologize for the late response but I have been out of town. We have addressed this complaint with the patient before and offered a free facial so we could evaluate her skin and find a resolution. She had a laser treatment on 3/24 and we did the facial on 4/1. When she came in for that her skin looked great and whatever bumps had been there were gone. She had acne, acne scars, hyperpigmentation and ingrown hair problems from the beginning, which is what we were treating her for. Our esthetician has lots of notes in the charts and saw improvement each time. On the next laser treatment on 4/19 the settings were turned down to what she had been using before so there is no way the laser is causing acne to break out. That is most likely ingrown hairs that she already had. Also laser hair removal can not cause someone to have a double chin. I am sorry that she is unhappy with her skin and we'd love to help but she is not satisfied with anything we do. We have done 7 laser hair removal treatments, 6 microderms with chemical peels and 2 microneedling sessions. At this point I don't know what else to do to make her happy. She has 6 laser hair removal sessions left and 1 microneedling session left. If she doesn't want to continue I can issue a refund of $848 which is the value of what is left. Otherwise I would advise to just be patient with the process and the ingrown hairs will stop once the laser hair removal process is finished.
