This is in response to missing medical claim payments from Ambetter for the ENTIRE year of 2023. We have been in contact with Ambetter many many times to get this issue resolved but cannot seem to get any call backs from supervisors or contracting representatives. I have requested credentialing three times online this year after being told that we are OON and have received nothing in the mail or any phone contact. Every time I request a supervisor, I am either put on hold for a long time (30 minutes to an hour) only to be hung up on or I will stay on the line, and someone will never pick back up. My most recent call like this lasted for 2 HOURS. Every time I was told I would get a supervisor call back nothing ever came of it. We have stopped taking new Ambetter patients due to this payment issue. We have rendered services for Ambetter clients and deserve the appropriate reimbursement. We submitted our W-9 on 10/18 (via fax - #: ************) but it seems that the claims payment address has not been updated, only the practice address. We have tried to get check traces done previously with no resolution. I will list all the reference numbers on file for your reference. The last update was on 11/27 stating that the issue has been escalated but the provider services line cannot find the information now. I have been making phone calls to Ambetter since June. It’s time for this issue to be taken seriously and handled appropriately.
