      I took car into ****** auto, needing a brake job, thinking $300 to $400, That was in May 2023, it is Oct. 2023, they cannot fix the brakes, my car has no brakes, and the bill is over $6,000 . I have already given them $2000.....I refuse to pay them $4000 more dollars and receive the car back with NO brakes. I will not pay. I am 81 years old.

      Mr. ******, I do understand your car has been here since April and we communicated clearly that working on an historic vehicle (1989 Chysler TC) the brake ABS unit rebuild would be and has been a very difficult process as we have sent it off multiple times to TC Parts and with it not being fixed completely and waiting multiple months each time it has been sent off.  You were made aware of this when you paid a $2200 deposit for the ABS unit.  I called the other day excited to tell you that they dropped shipped another unit very quickly after we notified them the second one was bad as well, however you refused to communicate with me. Mr. ******, we have tried our best to handle this repair as best as possible. We have communicated any updates as we have waited and any repairs as seen needed.  We have the best technician in the country working on your vehicle.  I left a voicemail stating we will install the newest rebuilt ABS unit at no additional charge (This would have been over $800) and that way we can verify that the brakes are working correctly. The remaining total is $4,574.80 for inspection and battery replacement, battery drain testing, installed terminal switch, replacing ABS unit, testing multiple times, replacement of Left front brake caliper and hose, and rotor. Please let me know if you would like us to reinstall the ABS unit at no additional charge.  Thank You, ***** ******

      I paid to have a leak on my power steering repaired. I spoke with the techs explaining the location of the leak and they insisted my power steering pump was leaking. I was losing about a half of a quart of fluid per day. Once I got my truck back the leak continued at the same rate. Barnes said this was due to a leak created by a change in pressure from the new pump and fluid stating that I would need to pay an additional 600.00 to fix the leak. I paid 640.48 for the repair of the leak that Barnes said was coming from the power steering pumo itself even though I had them it looked to be leaking closer to the fire wall. I had also paid for a leak that the company said was at the master cylinder in the amount of 288.38.

      When this vehicle came in to our shop, it was very apparent that this vehicle had many issues that were unknown to you, the customer.  As we had stated to you, we had to start with the power steering pump leak first because it was the worst leak. It was noted that after multiple drive cycles that the hydroboost started leaking - most likely from having a full amount of pressure and new fluid.  At the time, you the customer declined further repair. If you would like to bring in your own hydroboost, we would be happy to install it at no charge for you. We do not normally allow customers to bring in their own parts, however in this instance we are willing to work with you and hopefully help with this matter. Thank you.
