For almost six weeks I have endeavored to deal with Meade Tractor of London, Kentucky as well as a supervisor by the name of ***** ******* who has stated his office is located in Georgetown, Kentucky. During that time, I first requested photos of a Frontier SB3108 that one of the London, Kentucky salesmen identified as being at the Johnson City, Tennessee store. The salesman stated he would get the photos sent over. This fellow willfully and intentionally lied for no photos were ever forthcoming. Then this same person was supposed to get the unit transferred to London the following week. He lied again because it failed to come. This is the guy that offered it to me for $6000. Obviously now they are trying to weasel out of the deal using multiple subterfuges! As a follow up, I spoke to a fellow at Meade in Georgetown by the name of ***** ******* who openly admitted the salesman clearly failed to follow up on this SB3108. ******* himself also clearly lied by stating he would have this unit transferred to London, Kentucky. Upon being provided a copy of the travel log of this machine, it was plain that the mower had not been in Abington, Va since May 15 of 2023. The motive for these lies is anybody's guess unless some folks just get a kick out of telling lies. Anyway, ******* stated he would put me with a different salesman in London and conditioning it by stating that I would like this guy. On Wednesday, January 31, 2024 I was notified by the second salesman that the SB3108 had made it to London but that it had missing parts and that the parts department would order them, have them installed and notify me when it was ready to be inspected. Out of curiosity I made two different trips to London and methodically went all around the area, not finding a sickle bar mower so I was left to wonder if they really had one or were lying to me , once again. In the meanwhile ,I inquired about the price of a RC2048 cutter and the second salesman tried to hose me down for an extra $250.00 above competition. Since I would have had to have driven some distance to pick up this cutter with chains and a slip clutch, I offered him an extra $100 to avoid the drive. He refused as was his prerogative but obviously became angry, falsely accusing me of treating him unprofessionally and giving him sharp responses. That was a devil's lie and I essentially informed him that if he/they were only interested in moving from one pity party to another and didn't want my business to say so rather than beating around the bush.
