            My complaint with Kevin's Carpets involves work completed on installing a $9,000 tile shower in a new home. They provided the workers to install the shower system and the work is less than professional. When we asked the owner to come to look at the work she would make an appointment and then not come. She required full payment on the job before she would consider even looking at the shower. I have multiple emails to prove her responses to agree to fix our problem if we paid for the unacceptable work. This took place beginning in February 2021. After I threatened to file a complaint she agreed that if we got an estimate to have done if the shower problem fixed she would take care of it. I sent an estimate to have the shower repaired and she is now ignoring any correspondence. The repair we are asking for only costs her about $725. I just need ***** to stand by the agreement to fix our shower situation after we stood by our part of the agreement to pay for the work in full.

            Kevin's Carpets installed laminate flooring in our house in the spring of 2022. The flooring was not laid properly and had to be re-done, as well as the paint due to the mess made on our walls. The flooring was laid again in June 2022, with the painting completed in July. The flooring had a large "bubble" in it and relief cuts were made. The "bubble" did not go down all the way and someone came to make more relief cuts, but they were not successful either. It is now over a year later and the issue has not been resolved. When we walk through one room, we "sink" down to the floor. You can even see the issue before walking on it. Kevin's Carpets has told us this is a warranty issue, but has not corrected the issue to our satisfaction. We host gatherings frequently and people now know to be careful in this room.
