    I hired Tiger Fencing to remove an old privacy fence and install a new one. The contract was for 132' of 6' privacy fence with a double gate. Total quote for the work was $3,400. 50% required up front.
    -They began work without calling 811 and cut through my metronet service cable almost immediately after beginning. I also suspect they have damaged my neighbors sprinkler lines.
    -They removed my old fence and left it sitting in a stack about 7ft tall in my front yard for over a week to point it was starting to kill grass.
    -I asked for the new fence to run exactly the same as the old fence. About halfway through their work I noticed that they had crossed into my neighbor's property and were just cutting planks short to fit over her landscaping.
    -Every single post was less than 18 inches deep in the ground. 16 posts were only between 12-15 inches deep. Well below the 24" code.
    -Mulitple posts including a corner post were extremely out of level.
    -One post was set on the footer of my house.
    -Planks were set on the ground where they would absorb water and rot.
    -2x4s with large chunks cut out were used for purlins in a manner that would hold water and rot quickly.
    -Crew had to borrow my extension cord because they did not have their own.
    -When I raised concerns with the owner over the phone regarding the above issues, I was insulted and cussed at. When I asked them to leave, they left the yard a complete mess with boards and scrap everywhere. After a couple days I requested my $1,700 deposit back. They refused stating they had offered to come back and fix the issues.

    Below you will find Tiger Fencing Co.'s response to ****** ***** complaint. 

    ****** ***** initially reached out in April, 2024. At that time, there was no indication that they wished to proceed with the fence installation. Later in the year, the customer re-established contact, and we honored the original quoted price. Work began, and after the posts were set, the customer expressed satisfaction with the progress.

    Unfortunately, a storm caused weather delays, limiting the crew’s ability to work on the fence for several days. Once conditions improved, the crew completed approximately 50% of the 2x4s and pickets. That evening, the customer sent us pictures and raised concerns about the installation. Despite being home throughout the day, the customer had not mentioned these concerns earlier. In response, Danielle, our representative, visited the site to address the issues. She assured the customer that any concerns with the installation would be corrected. However, Mr. Brown decided to halt the work, choosing to leave the deposit as is and requested that the crew cease work and leave the site, which we complied with.

    A month later, the customer’s attorney contacted us. After discussions, we offered a $500 refund as a resolution, which was the best solution we could offer under the circumstances. The last communication from the attorney was received before Christmas.

    We consider the matter resolved and have made every effort to address the customer’s concerns.

    This business does not communicate with its clients. They left me with a half complete bathroom and demanding more money. They cursed at me and threatened to take me to court over their actions. I have to have another contractor finish in order to have this project done. They continuously told me that they would be done by 11/11/24 and yesterday 11/21/24 they decided to abandon the job. I have plenty of pictures and videos of their work.

    We began the bathroom renovation project and proceeded with the flooring installation, using the flooring sample provided by Lowe’s to match the rest of the house. Lowe’s assured us that the flooring selected was an exact match, but unfortunately, it did not meet the customer's expectations.

    Additionally, the wrong vanity was initially delivered. To avoid delays, we installed this vanity temporarily while awaiting the correct one. Upon arrival, the correct vanity was installed, but it was smaller than the original, which caused further dissatisfaction.

    Regarding the wall cracks, these were present before the old vanity was removed. The bathroom originally featured a shower/tub combo that covered the entire ceiling. Once this was removed, we had to waterproof the area and add a new ceiling to ensure proper installation and safety.

    At the time of our last communication, we informed the customer that all of their concerns were minor issues that could easily be resolved. However, the customer insisted that we not return, even though our crew was en route to the site. The customer also expressed that they would take legal action against us.

    Currently, we are in an active lawsuit with the customer and have placed a lien on the property due to non-payment for services rendered.

    Tiger fencing co was hired on January 17, 2023 to install a 6 ft privacy vinyl fence on our property. The fence was not installed properly and the company was contacted several times to come correct the issues. The fence is still wobbly, crooked and looks unprofessionally installed. During a recent thunderstorm, many part of the fence blew away and broke off even though we were told this was a very secure fence and weather resistant. I have tried to contact Tiger fencing co several times to come out an fix the damage, but they have not responded.

    We have responded multiple times to you as well as every complaint you have left on our various websites.  To reiterate, we assure you that your fence was built with the same craftsmanship and quality we put into all of our fences.  As stated previously, we can understand your frustration that the recent storms in the area may have damaged your fence.  Unfortunately, we cannot control the weather and have received countless inquiries from people looking for fence repairs due to the weather.  We offered you a solution to your issue by filing an insurance claim that would relieve you of repair costs.  ****** we were in contact with you throughout the project and have responded every time you reached out.  You have left us multiple complaints to which we responded with this same information.  As hard as our company works to provide the best fences around, labeling us as unprofessional and incompetent because violent wind storms broke a pre-made vinyl panel is unjust.  We stand by the quality of our work and hope you take our advice on talking to your insurance company just as every other person who had damage due to the weather.  Thanks

    I am rejecting this response because: they never responded back to me after MULTIPLE attempts to call and email them to fix the broken fence. The claim of giving me the option to file through my insurance is false and they never even responded to any of my messages to make such claims. I hired a different company to fix it and they showed me the terrible job tiger company did and how many corners were cut. The fence is already leaning and Jon need if repair only after 4 months.

    We were in constant contact with you and have plenty of emails to show we stayed in touch throughout the entire process.  We have also responded to your complaints on every website you have taken to.  As was mentioned before, we provided you with the same care and quality we put into every project we take.  Unfortunately, weather can affect a vinyl fence.  Many people throughout the area have asked about repairs to damage from wind and storms.  The panels are pre-made by a manufacturer.  We install them whole.  From the pictures, the panels themselves were broken by the storms.  I cannot stress enough that high winds can damage structures regardless who installed them.  It also comes as no surprise that a competing fencing company in the area claimed we “cut corners.”  Unfortunately, in this industry, we find many of our competitors pull this same method every chance they get.  That is what sets us apart from the rest.  We focus on our quality and craftsmanship and let our work speak for itself.  We don’t have to criticize the competition to land jobs.  In the end, you said you brought in another fencing company so I am sure they have helped you.  Seems this matter is closed and we will both move forward.  We will continue to grow and prove why we are the best fencing company around.

    The fence company removed my boards and threw them away while working on erecting my neighbors new fence. My fence cost me $7000 and was in perfect condition and less than a year old. No one came to me or ever told me of the missing boards. My neighbor is currently fighting with them about the terrible job they did and he’s refusing to pay to fix my fence as well.

    We can assure you, nobody removed any boards or threw anything away from your property.  In fact, we never did business with you at all.  We were contracted by your neighbor to build his fence.  You taking to the BBB, seems quite unusual and for someone we never spoke with, leaving us a complaint is unusual to say the least.  We have only heard how satisfied and pleased your neighbor was with his new fence.  To say he is fighting with us is an outright lie ***.  We provide the best quality fences around and if you have issues with your fence, perhaps contacting the original company you hired to come out would be your best bet.  Have a nice day!

    Tiger fencing is under contract with me to install a driveway gate. On Tuesday June 6 the the crew started the project by installing two posts in concrete and yesterday on June8 the crew of two proceeded to install the vinyl gate. The gate now has a large gap in the center, it is not square, the gap from the gate top to the driveway surface is uneven . An attempt to install hinges was unsuccessful on the first attempt leaving open screw holes in the panel after the second try.
    The gate fastener doesn’t fit, so is only secured by half the surface of the opener ( fastener) . The gap on one side of the gate post was too large so a wood panel was attached to fill the gap. There is a large crack in the gate panel that holds the gate hinge to the post. I have no knowledge of what happened to crack the panel.
    Debris consisted of rocks dirts, QuickCrete bags , and splintered boards and was all left left behind. Some rocks dirt and unused parts were put in my next door neighbors trash container.
    I contacted Tiger Fence. The girlfriend of the owner came out to observe for herself my concerns. The visit resulted in excuses without any path forward to corrective action. I informed her I would not pay the remaining 50 percent of the contract price without corrective action. I have several photos to share if requested.

    You contacted Tiger Fencing Because your wooden double gate was falling down.  We provided you estimates for a vinyl double gate because you told us that is what you preferred.  You stated you wanted a specific vinyl that looked like a picket fence.  We told you these gates only came in a 4 ft wide and 5 ft wide section and we do not cut into vinyl as they are premade.  Your gate opening was 11 ft wide.  So we attempted to take two 5 ft premade gates and make them fit so you could have the type of gate you wanted.  We explained to you that a wooden double gate would be the best option for your situation however you insisted on vinyl.  You even went as far as having a neighbor, who claims to be in construction (he does windows for the record) claim that we did our job incorrectly.  You then decided to make personal attacks on an employee stating you did not trust them because they were “not married.”  As an adult, surely you can understand how this can be extremely off putting.  We continued to explain that a wooden double gate would be your best option.  We heard no response until you decided to post this on the BBB about the situation.  Susan, we will never allow personal attacks on any of our employees.  We were forthright with you throughout the entire process but per your request we did our best to provide you what you wanted.  As expressed to you countless times, the only option for you would be to go for a wooden double gate due to the size of the gate opening.  You are fully aware of this.  Unfortunately, we have no intention of continuing our work with you after your actions taken against one of our employees.  You can provide our information to the next contractor on your gate.

    This company put up a fence for us a year and a half ago and it is already rotting and falling apart.
    my experience with tiger fencing was horrible from the beginning. they left a huge mess when they “finished” the job. scrap wood covered our yard, nails and cigarettes were scattered everywhere, and they left huge piles of concrete and mud that killed the grass. we reached out to them at the time and they originally said they would clean it up and then never showed, and then when we reached out again, we were told that clean up wasn’t included.
    not long after it was built, the wooden gate started buckling and we reached out to have them fix it and they kept putting it off and giving us the run around and then never came back. we ended up having to replace pieces to keep it together. it’s been a year and a half and they never came back and now our entire fence is falling apart.
    they didn’t use treated wood on the posts and they’re all rotting. we reached out to an employee who said he would come by and then never showed. we have reached out to the owner and tried calling the office multiple times and we get no answer (the one time that he did respond he was rude and unprofessional).
    we spent thousands of dollars on a fence that didn’t last 2 years.
    do not use this company. you won’t have a standing fence for long.

    We appreciate any review we receive and always use every critique to grow and better our company. We do apologize your experience so long ago was less that what you expected. Rest assured that we keep records, notes, and photos of every fence we complete and can say we completed our job with you in the same manner and care we do for every customer.  We can also assure you treated wood was used at the time.  You can reference the attached photos for verification of this.  Yes, we are constantly growing as a company but one thing that has always been consistent is the craftsmanship of our work. We have a great deal of reviews that can attest to the level of skill we erect our fences; fences that have lasted and will continue to last.  As mentioned, we can understand you reaching out to us to leave a review and offer your sentiments.  In fact, we welcome it, however, we explained to you previously that we built your fence with treated wood exactly how you specified.  If it was damaged, we would have come out to take a look and offered an estimate to fix the issues.  Conversely, you have now made negative remarks against the our company, our employees, and even the other customers we have worked with.  All because you say you want a full refund for a fence we built how you asked.  You are absolutely entitled to leave a review on our business, but we will not be coerced into giving you a refund.  You have had friends who have never even worked with us criticize our company on public forums, in what we assume is an attempt to pressure us to give you money.  This provocation will not work.  If you would like someone to come out and give an estimate for repairs, we would be more than happy to assist you, but we do not appreciate the belittling of our business.  Moving forward, we will take your criticisms as being constructive and will continue to build the best fences around.

    We do not say this lightly- this is the single worst experience we’ve ever had with a contracted company.
    It has taken the better part of this year (3/30/22 – current) to get a fence installed that we paid for promptly.
    We are under the impression that the company does not care about their customers or the quality of service they provide.
    In addition to building a poor-quality fence with one gate completely non-functional, they have failed to communicate with us, answer our calls, and have no call/no showed multiple times when they indicated they would be here, and we rearranged our schedules to accommodate.
    What’s more- they have treated us like we are doing something wrong by asking that they complete the job we paid for in full MONTHS ago. After the initial response from the company owner, ******, on 6/9-6/10, he has not communicated with us or returned to the job site.
