My trip there took them 4 weeks to fix my truck. I needed my rear differential replaced with warranty. They said my rear E brakes were loose when they started working on it, which is ironic because my E brake worked fine prior to them working on my truck. Now my air front air ride suspension sags all the way down when the truck is parked over night, it previously never did that. I tried to make a claim with them when picking up my truck and they said their managers were in a meeting and that the HR person would call me for a claim . They havent called me . This place does shady businesses.Review from Scott S

Service department is very shady. My car was in for service and they gave me a ridiculously high price to replace a battery. At that point I really had no option but to have them do it. Realizing they were gouging me I told them to only do the battery and nothing else. They agreed but when I came to pick up car they had done an oil change and were charging me an additional $170. So $670 for battery and oil change.Review from Diana K

I can't even rate Zimmer Motors. They are below one star. I took my ***** **** in for two recall repairs (no fee). Technician Ted. Picked it up on a Thursday difficulty starting the car. Glitchy starting on Friday (returned rental). Saturday glitchy starting, engine light on (steady, non-flashing) threw two codes 2122 and 2127 (throttle accelerator codes)...never had any issue until they did the PCM computer code fix for the recall. Today, Monday..car would not start. Roadside assistance checked battery (fully charged). Car towed to dealer. Service manager, Scott, and service advisor, Tesara were so rude upon my arrival with the towed car. I was told I would have to pay $154 diagnostic fee without them even wanting to look into the fact that this only happened post computer reprogramming. Steer clear of Zimmer. I have NEVER in my life seen such rude and condescending people. They want your money ....they are heartless.Review from Emily G

Went in for a routine oil change and maintenance check up.In the scheduler it said that spark plug replacement and multi point inspection was included, so I clicked it because it was recommended by the dealer, take Lazarus in, get everything done, go to pay and tech. Says Thatll be $808.28. I asked What exactly am I being charged for? (Because I usually only pay about $100 for the parts and oil as the service is included and I had bought the car from Zimmer back in 2016.)The tech. then lists off my charges and Im like uhm, but in the scheduler it said it was includedTech. then got snotty(er then normal, she is always pretty unpleasant, to me at least) she said, with a smirk, like I was the stupid one No, thats not included. Its $808.28. and made me pay.My blood was boiling at that point so I just paid and went to find Lazarus in the parking lot. Got in my car and on my phone I went into the scheduler and low and behold replace spark plugs 8 cyl was included. Went back in to show mrs. grumpy pants and before I made it half way to her desk from the door she said I already called it in. Again being very snotty.I still continued to her and showed her asking her to make sure it gets fixed so no one else gets stuck with a **** for something that wasnt supposed to cost them anything.She not once made me feel like she cared that I was tricked into the service or try to make it right, She made me feel Like I was trying to rob the dealership like they didnt just mislead me into a service that they recommended and advertised as included and then make me pay an insane amount for it.Also, this is not the first time I have taken Lazarus in for service and gotten screwed over.Needless to say I will not be back and will be telling friends and family about my experience.Review from Darrian R.

This dealership has had my truck for two weeks to fix an issue with the transmission under warranty and have yet to contact my warranty company even after telling me what was wrong and saying that they couldnt get anyone to answer at the warranty company so I called and got an answer immediately and come to find out no one from zimmer has even contacted them about my truck. Now I cant get anyone in the service department to answer me or my voicemails. Another case of we want money and dont care about people. Will never deal with them after I get my truck back.Review from A. M.

Do Not buy a car from Zimmer Motors in Florence. They are out for every last dime and will even tell you so.They promised to fix an internal trunk latch on our car so we didnt write it on the We Owe because it seemed simple- but did write it on another paper when we financed, thinking that would be good enough for them to keep their word. We took delivery because it was Friday night and the salesperson said they would follow up first thing today to make it right. About 2:30 I heard nothing and followed up to get it fixed The salesperson played stupid then DENIED saying that it would be an easy fix and the sales MANAGER flat out told us they didnt make enough profit on our car to fix it for us!!! He also said that the other paper we wrote on about it getting fixed was worthless from a legal standpoint. How about that for customer care?So now we are stuck with an internal cargo latch that is jammed shut and we have to get it fixed on our dime.This is the kind of Integrity that youll get from Zimmer motors. Another form response. I have nothing else to say to Zimmer personally. As of yesterday, I've been contacted by the Used Car Manager urgently and suddenly they want to fix the cargo latch. I wrote him a lengthy email and said my peace. It's quite remarkable that suddenly this Company has a conscience after I've left negative reviews on 5 websites and the BBB, isn't it? This isn't an inconvenience. This is a systemic issue that comes from the top down, clearly. Never in my life have I encountered such nerve from a manager while a company dares to tout "customer care" over such a small thing. Your employees are happy to let purchasers leave the lot and they are on their own, and you know that's a fact. Things should have been made right AS PROMISED, when we purchased the car. Instead, we were deceived and the good old bait and switch happened for a few hundred bucks. Pathetic.
