On 8/2/22 I took my riding mower in to Mobile Mower to have the drive belt fixed (kept sliding off). I paid $80 deposit. I was contact a day later saying the mower was ready. I picked up on 8/5 and paid another $37.70. When I got home the belt came off again after 10 minutes of mowing. I checked the belt and it was threadbare. I dropped it back off on Tuesday 8/9. The mechanic who “fixed” acted like I had given them a belt that was the wrong size. They fixed it again and I went to pick it up on 8/15. When I arrived the mower was being jumped. The mechanic said that someone had “left the keys in it” and that a quick jump should fix it. There was also no gas in the mower, which I found odd as I had left a full tank in it. When I got the mower home it would not start. “Owner” said they would refund the money to me but never did.
