      I bought a **** ****** ***** 7/19/23. I took it to the Lexus River Center on 7/22/23 with acceleration problems. The dealer claimed that they replaced transmission during that time. Got the car back on 8/22/23 or 8/23/23. In late October took the car back to the dealer for the same problem (transmission) again. The dealer acknowledged that it was the same transmission issue. Only this time they want me to pay a little over $2800 for the labor relating to fixing the transmission. Why should I pay, when the original problem obviously has never been fixed? To have the amount of problems that I have had since owning the car. Makes the entire deal sketchy. I have called and spoke with Jordan several times. I even went to the dealership to talk with Jordan. I also have spoken with Justin, and have gotten the run around, or have been totally ignored. My Mother has tried to call and speak with Justin. He did not call her back. At this point, I am paying for a car that was supposedly fixed, but in the end it was not. Now, the dealer wants over 2800 dollars for labor for the same problem they claimed to have fixed. To have the car for so little time before having trouble. This only signals to me, that this car was essentially a bad car being sold to me. The Lexus River Center had been known for superior service which Is why I came to them in first place. However, I am totally unsatisfied with how the deal has been handled. I just want a working car, so that I can get back and forth to work. Right now, this car does me no good, because it is not working.

      Good afternoon,

      Our apologies on the delay.  The dealership bought back *** ***** vehicle at a high rate so that she could be approved for the purchase of another vehicle at Performance Select Cars.  The dealership also absorbed the cost of the repairs to *** ***** original vehicle (repair order attached) that *** ***** had previously approved and was to pay.

      I purchased a car 2 months ago. When I purchased the vehicle I opted to purchase an extended warranty for wheel and tire protection and was told I was required to purchase a paint protection warranty as “it was already on the vehicle” by their finance manager ***** *****. I later found out I was not required to purchase said warranty. I decided to file cancellations for both warranties a few days after my purchase through email with ***** *****. I was assured my cancellations were properly filed and told I should notice a drop in my balance in about 30 days by ****** It has been over 2 months since my initial request to cancel these extended warrantied and I have not received a payment for either. I attempted to reach out via email again to follow up on my request and have received no response. I understand I could have done more as a consumer to protect myself from these business practices however the issue of refusing to honor cancellations filed well before their cutoff point is unlawful.

      I’ve paid them over 6500 dollars to fix my car I made a insurance claim after I hit a pot hole I’ve had to take my car back 4 times this has been going on for the last 4 months and know there trying to charge me 1300 dollars saying this will fix the noise. You’ll can get in touch with them about how much my insurance has paid please making my insurance go up

      Good morning,

      In response to the complaint filed by ***** ******, Justin L**** (Service Manager) contacted *** ****** this morning after receiving his complaint to inform him that if he was not willing to pay for the recent repairs needed that have been denied by his insurance company that *** ****** would need to return the loaner car that was supplied by the dealership and pick up his vehicle.  *** ****** refused to return the loaner car so the dealership will be taking *** ******** vehicle back to him and picking up the loaner car.  Performance Lexus RiverCenter has no hand in making *** ******** insurance increase.  *** ****** is the one who filed the claim with his insurance company.  It is important to note here that every time *** ****** brought his vehicle to the dealership; he was provided a loaner car for the duration of the repairs.  I have attached all repair orders associated with the vehicle.  In closing, Lexus RiverCenter will not be covering the cost of the needed repairs that were denied by his insurance company in the amount of $1195.00.
