      On May 24, 2022 Campbell Chevrolet processed a credit application with my social security number causing 3 hard inquiries on my credit, lowering my credit score from 920 to 850. I have made repeated requests to them to provide proof via a signed application with my signature or a letter on their letterhead stating the application was made in error. They have not done either. I have spoken with ***** ****** the used car sales manager and have written via email to **** ******. I have also sent a certified letter dated 8/24/2022 which was received on 8/28/2022, To date, September 7, 2022, I have not received the either the application with my signature on it or the letter stating the application in my name was made in error.

      On August 24, 2022 I sent a certified letter asking to cancel a extended warranty. I also email **** ****** and spoke with ***** ****** over the phone. Both are managers. **. ****** stated he would send a check out for the cancellation on August 26, 2022, to date I have not received the check. Thanks! ****** *********

      ****** ********* came to Campbell Pre-Owned with her ******** ****** ********* to buy a 2015 Lincoln MKC. In order to get a better interest rate for ****** we suggested that ****** apply for the loan with her ******** ******. All parties agreed and ***. ****** ********* gave us all of her information to submit a credit application for the 2015 Lincoln MKC.  When we submitted ***. ****** ********* application to the banks we were able to get a better interest rate. When we presented the new rate we had gotten from the bank she still felt that she could get a better rate from her credit union. She then secured the loan and financing with her credit union and finished the transaction on the 2015 Lincoln MKC.
      We collected all the proper employment and financial information from ***. ****** ********* and she agreed to have her application submitted to our financing parties. However ***. ****** ********* did not sign the credit application so we will provide her with a letter on our letterhead stating there was an error in processing her application. 
      The *** ******** ******* Contract was canceled on 8/31/22 and attached is a copy of that cancellation form.
      Also attached is a “we owe” form that states Campbell Chevrolet owes nothing to the customer. So therefore we will not be providing additional floor mats or trunk mats.

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********* and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

      To date, October 19, 2022, I have not received a refund check from the cancelled warranty. I also have not received a letter stating the credit application was processed in error. *** ****** has been aware of these issues since August 29, 2022. It should take 7 weeks to provide a letter of their error and a refund for the warranty. Im in opinion, these matters were handled very poorly and indicates lack of professionalism. I would like a date the letter and refund will be sent
