On 5/11/23 I paid Patriot Heating, A/C, Plumbing $11,469.00 to install a new Rheem heating/cooling system in my home. Less than a month later I didn't feel it was operating as it should be so asked them to return to make some adjustments perhaps. On 6/4/23 they came back and told me the problem was with the dampers and they needed to be replaced. I found this diagnosis concerning as questioned why the broken dampers weren't discovered when the system was installed. I was given a pricey estimate, $4,195, as I was with the prior system installation, so I decided to get estimates from other HVAC companies to compare. As of today, 6/16/23 three different HVAC companies have come to my house to look at my system and provide estimates for what's needed next. Every single one of these businesses found an array of problems and coding issues with the original installation! In fact, they are unable to move forward with repairing the dampers until the problems stemming from the shoddy installation are resolved. I contacted ***** ***** of Patriot after discovering these problems and he informed me everything his crew did was in compliance with code so end of story. So, I have been out thousands of dollars and stuck with a brand new HVAC not operating correctly with no recourse except shelling out even more money to have someone else clean up the mess made by Patriot.
