  I hired N.L. Wilson Moving & Storage to help me move from my previous address, hold my items in their storage facility, and then move it to my current address. This took place from December 2021-January 2022. Everything had run smoothly until I had discovered that some of my items had been missing or damaged. I called their office and they explained that I needed to fill out their claim form. I filled it out to the best of my ability and sent it in through email and thought I would hear a response soon. I have been calling, emailing, and leaving messages for months with no action being taken. My claim has changed hands several times, and have been given multiple answers such as my claim will be taken care in a few days, my claim had gotten lost in the pile, or that the owner will look personally at my claim. None of the those answers has gotten me any closer to my claim being resolved. From my understanding it was supposed to be a quick process with the company evaluating my claim and giving me an estimate based off of the damages/missing items. It is now the middle of August and I am tired of calling over and over about the same things. My next move is to file my complaint here, and notify N.L. Wilson that I will be calling an attorney for their lack of attention to my claim. I feel I have been more than patient but that has gotten me nowhere in resolving my issue. I will never recommend this company to anyone with the way they have handled their business practices.

  This past summer Wilson completed an interstate move from me from *** ******** ******** ****** ***** ** ***** to *** ** ***** ******* *********** ** *****. I had multiple issues working this company. First, the invoicing was inaccurate a number of times and if I had not reviewed it carefully I would have over paid by $6000, Second, items were transported to my home that were not mine as well as too many of my items were damaged. All damaged were Packed by Carrier (CP), not Packed by Owner (PBO). There appeared to be little concern about the condition of my items. For example, my Queen size mattress was dragged through the mud which resulted in it being torn and soiled. Also, an end table made of soft wood was delivered with a split top. I have addressed my concerns in detail to its parent company ******* *********.

  Tell us why here...This claim was paid to the shipper on 9/18/21, it was paid by claims department up at *************** where the claim was filed.   There was not a billing issue on our end but more of a misunderstanding of the charges between the customer and the salesman.  Which in good faith NL Wilson offered half of the pickup and storage charges to be credited.  See invoice #**** attached.  Charges $3175 were split in half for the customer.  NL Wilson moved and stored over 150 items and only had a few small things happen, and they were taken care within the time frame allowed for claims to be settled.  We are sorry your move was less then perfect, but feel with the discount and paying the claim, all the issues were handled swiftly and with the customer best interest.
