REVIEW FOR KC HOME RENTAL: 0 stars Do NOT rent from KC Home Rental. I was a great tenant for 5 years. I was never late on rent, and very rarely had to contact them for anything. When I did have to contact them, they were very hard to get ahold of or get a call back. My lease is up at the end of May. I bought a house in March, and fully planned to pay both April and may rent. I told them that I was out of the property and turned my keys in at the end of March. I thought I was doing them a favor so they could get it listed and rented as soon as possible so it wouldn’t be sitting empty until they could get a renter even after my lease was up. However, even though I have paid aprils rent and still plan to pay mays rent, they just notified me, by text, that I will not be getting my deposit back because I “broke my lease”.

Hi Abigail. I believe we have resolved this issue. I apologize for the inconvenience that it caused you and hope you understand this was a very non typical situation and obviously our normal practices for a break lease situation did not apply which is why we went ahead and refunded your full deposit. **** poor, was interested in a property and could not reach anyone during business hours over the phone or through email. When I finally did get an email the gentleman said he hadnt received any emails so I went on and inquired about the property and Ive heard nothing since.
