    We contracted with the company to put a coating on our basement floor. We specifically had the owner out to our house as we had a pool table in the basement. He assured us that his team would move the table around the basement in order to complete the job. Instead the team put the coating down and the table was stuck to the floor. The owner came back and we assisted them in getting the table moved but it was broke in the process. The team again worked around the table and said the project was complete. When we were finally able to fully move the table ourselves we could see there were places that the job was not completed correctly. I called the company 3 times and emailed 3 different individuals multiple times in order to get it fixed. They provided us a warranty which as far as I can tell means nothing if they don't ever reply back to you. I tried to go by the location listed on the website but couldn't find them there. The project was started on August 26th. We paid $3,790. In all my correspondence all I have asked is they fix the issues. I haven't asked to be reimbursed for the broken pool table. I would like to know how a company can issue a warranty and then never reply to any of my attempts to reach them.

    I hired ETEK Custom Coatings on 8/30/24 to put a custom coating on our garage floors of our new house before we moved into it. They unfortunately put the wrong color floor down. I spoke with Abe over the phone after the completion of the project and he assured me that he would text or call me later that day with an amount to credit us due to their mistake. It has been three weeks and I have called and left no less than FIVE message with the receptionist in the office for Abe to please call me back in reference to the credit he sees fit. I am not asking for a refund but for some sort of credit as they did not do the job that we paid for. The company's cunstomer servive is NON-EXISTENT, so I am seeking help from a third party and filing a complaint with the BBB.

    *** the owner seems like a great guy and says all the right things on the front end. If there is an issue he is unreachable and will avoid you.

    This floor is unsafe and the own will not stand behind his warranty

    You can see from the pictures that this coating did perform as promised. These pictures are from less than a year of wear. I would strongly recommend finding a different provider.

    ***** ****** has reached out to us in the past regarding his floor. However, it was not regarding the floor not performing other than it being "slippery." While our warranty states the floor is not our responsibility when it comes to being slippery, specifically when wet, we came in and added additional texture for him. Keep in mind, this is for an auto shop that has oil and grease spills and constantly pressure washed making the floor wet. ETEK has and always will back up our warranty and in this case we went above what our warranty states. If there are issues regarding the floor in terms of chipping or peeling we are happy to address.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    Please see the attached pictures, This is clearly and issue beyond just being slippery.  See the unanswered texts where I ask to meet with ***.  We added a drainage trench and water to wash the floor regularly after this was installed.  As you can clearly see this is poor quality and customer service.  His contract clearly states a warranty and he needs to stand behind his work

    Please see the text image I send.  I have made many attempts to contract *** including texting, calling, and stoping by his physical location.  He will not return my calls to rectify the floor, which you can see from the earlier photos provided is flaking and peeling.

    Install manager stated he has called ***** twice to set up a time to do a test area on the floor and he has not received a call back as of 1/16/24 to schedule a time to come out. Screenshot attached showing last call log.
