I am new and was told by my insurance that I had an addition benefit which was an OTC over the counter amount of $50 a month to purchase food but that only certain companies I could buy somethings so I looked an found farmboxrx I called and ordered a hispanic box paid $42 and *** told I would receive in 2 to3 days which was August 1st when I became eligible its been 4 days going on 5 and nothing I emailed because its says to email them and someone will get back to me. Nothing so far I asked for a refund and I will report to my insurance company. To me it seems like a scam we'll see

It's time we really look into the ******** ****** care system. Many who recieve the so called health care who are disabled ,retired on SSI and from other insurances from work . Lets start with the direct allowances of money and where it goes .Which should in fact be going directly to care ,doctors ,medicine ect .But after ACA and in ****.s all were forced to apply into an insurance network. Which then siphons off money's to pay the ceo's of big pharma and others .If we look deeply into vendors ,contractors and follow the money we find many are at the trouph .OTC and other programs are contracted through I guess the insurance compaies and government agenicies .I feel this money is getting siphoned off from what is really needed which is quality health care . As for Farmbox rx the cost was 42 dollars per box the fruit box had very little produce and much was under ripe ,maybe worth 10 dollars and same with veggies .It was not as pictured in their ads and pictured .I agree with the idea of fresh organic produce locally grown is good for health but don't agree with over price gouging . Second money shouldnt be subtracted out to others at cost of quality health care .

No contact - no shipment- total bullshit! Ordered a week ago and theyve never=even contacted me!

If you want to pay premium prices ($7/lb averaged) and don't mind waiting 11 days to get your food (3 of those days it was on the truck), then by all means, use farmbox. All of the food was fresh, due to the 12 pounds of ice bags, except the avocado, but the wait and high expense doesn't make this worthwhile. Also, half of what they delivered, which they don't tell you the contents beforehand, does not fit in my diet. I had to give it away.

I ordered a produce box for $42 and received almost nothing in return! What they sent was pathetic. 2 apples, 2 potatoes, 1 sweet potato, kale, 2 kiwis, 2 pears, 1 onion, 1 zucchini, and 2 oranges. This is a scam! No where near $42! I will never order from them again. Emailed them with no response. Thoroughly disgusted!
