Gemini crypto exchange ,froze my crypto account and will not let me access to my crypto or USD fund,for no reason.i was trading in their platform for almost 3 years.Business response

My company Gemini Financial Services does not do any type of crypto exchange or trading of any type. We prepare taxes, do payroll, and do bookkeeping. We also have no client past or present by the name of ***********************.Initial Complaint

Dear BBB I am writing to file a complaint against Gemini, a cryptocurrency exchange platform that closed my account without any explanation or justification. I have been a loyal customer of ******************** since 2023 and I have never violated any of their terms and conditions.On January, ****, I received an email from Gemini informing me that they had decided to terminate my account effective immediately. They did not provide any reason for their decision or any evidence of wrongdoing on my part. They also did not give me any opportunity to appeal or dispute their action.As a result of their arbitrary and unfair decision, I have lost access to my funds that were stored in my Gemini account. I have been trying to withdraw my money since then, but Gemini has ignored all my requests and inquiries. I have contacted their customer support multiple times, but I have only received automated responses or no replies at all.I believe that Gemini has violated my rights as a consumer and breached their contract with me. I have provided them with all the information and documents they asked for, such as my identity verification, bank account details. I have also complied with all their security and compliance measures. I have done nothing wrong to deserve this treatment from Gemini.I am requesting that BBB intervene in this matter and help me resolve this issue with Gemini. I would like to receive a full refund of my money that is locked in my Gemini account, as well as an apology and an explanation from Gemini for their unjustified and unreasonable action. I would also like to receive compensation for the inconvenience and distress that they have caused **** have attached copies of the email from Gemini, my account statement, and my correspondence with their customer support as evidence of my complaint. I hope that BBB can assist me in this matter and ensure that Gemini is held accountable for their misconduct.Thank you for your attention and cooperation.Sincerely,*****************Business response

This complaint is not referencing my company. I do not have a client by the name of ***************** and we do not deal with cryptocurrency. This person is in ******* and we are in *******. We deal with payroll, bookkeeping, and taxes not cryptocurrency.
