We have an older furnace that runs on home heating oil. It went out in early March and parts where hard to find, I get that. When the part finally arrived, Justin Time installed it. It worked for one cycle and quit during the night. We called them back and I had four people in my basement including the owner, who assured me it would be fixed. It wasn't. Again, it ran for one cycle and quit, so my husband went down to inspect it, opened the cover, and found oily rags and an uncapped fuel line in the furnace! So unprofessional. We called again. This time, a young man who we'd never met before came out, fixed it, and told us he had also reconnected the air conditioner to the system. When it got hot out and the air didn't work, well we discovered that lie, too.We called in another contractor who had it reconnected in 10 minutes. When the weather got cold, we turned on the furnace and horrible fumes came out. My husband shut it off and we used our wood burner until we could get a new contractor to fix it. It was then that he hold us that Justin Time has smashed the heat exchanger, which was causing fumes to back up into the house. He also told us that what Justin Time did was illegal and not up to code and that we could've died. They've been unresponsive and told us we're not their customers anymore. We want redress of this problem by getting our money back for the substandard work and the new furnace we're forced to purchase since they broke it through their incompetence.

I hired these people on good faith that they would do a professional job. We will start with negligence on their behalf. As a consumer paying monies in full,I expect to be notified of any changes made. I had either copper or galvanized lines to the old water heater they were replacing. The lines were replaced and reduced from:metal to pex and quick connectors on the lines.I was not devoted or discussed with about these changes.(they took it upon their own initiative to make these changes) .They also replaced the water heater.(I do not like the instability of the pex or the connectors. eventually in time they will weaken and leak with the pex or the connectors because of;water pressure.I never even knew about pex or that they existed, until I saw this cheap “wham bam thank you mam” job when I got home for the weekend (I am a truck driver) .the company is not going to be responsible for any damage to my house for possible leakage and damage to:my house in the future because of their job.all I see is a cheap rush job,to hurry and get to the next contract,to make more money. As a professional contractor,I should have been offered the option (as a consumer paying in full)of #1. keeping all it originally metal as it was.#2not losing water pressure because of their reduction job from:metal lines to pex. #3.the electric lines from the fuse box to the water heater not having a metal braided electrical line cover/protector on it.I discuss ed this with ********* the secretary , she kept trying to make excuses for their cutting corners on the job.and insisted that the conversation was over, and that I wasn’t allowed to speak with:****** ******* the owner/installer.and that it would cost me $500 to: $700 dollars more for an “upgrade “.this would not be an upgrade if they would have stayed with the copper or metal lines, from the beginning. Or if they would have consulted/discussed my options from the beginning.all I see is:predatory business practices to make more money from me.greedPex conne

*****:When I had the old water heater (which had sediment/ calcification build up  inside of it) I NEVER had a loss of water pressure . When the new water heater was installed, thats when the water pressure issues began. ********* (secretary for:Just In time plumbing and heating)said the water heater had nothing to do with the loss of pressure. IT HAS A LOT to do with the installation of that cheap pex lines & connectors . #1. This was a cheap quick way of installation to:hurry the job,so they could rush off to the next contract,in order to make more money, and profit from my job.#2. I was never asked about my installation options (#A.pex, #B.metal lines,or #C.copper lines prior to installation of the new water heater,I was NOT offered my choice of installation,as a cash paying customer.Ive never even knew pex existed until after my installation. )@ #A. Pex Line & cheap connectors.(which are of a cheap way to get out of doing a proper sturdy corrective job.Plus you have to keep the water pressure down in order to keep from bursting the cheap pex lines or connectors. Plus you have to keep the water temp  down to keep from weakening the cheap pex lines,in time.)  #b.copper lines, #c. Metal lines.(I had metal or copper lines before:just in time took it upon THEIR OWN INITIATIVE/ CHOICE to do the installation THEIR WAY) (reducing the metal lines to pex with out asking me my choice/ preference)they could have left it metal lines like it originally was(which I WAS expecting at the outlandish cost of $1775.00 dollars, of my monies.(by changing these lines, they reduced/ compromised the quality/sturdiness/ durability of the system). ********* & ****** (the owner & installer)must think I havent any common sense or wits about me.they even called me back and offered to upgrade the lines to metal or copper lines! (At the cost of:$500.00 to $700.00 more, out of pocket expense to me).All of this could have been avoided if they would have consulted with me about the details of the installation prior to the job being done,And asked meafter all I am the paying customer/ consumer. If I would have known I was going to get this poorly of a service,I NEVER WOULD HAVE HIRED THEM. I would have hired another contractor.I WASTED MY MONIES ON A JOB INCORRECTLY DONE! They even offered to come back and take the water heater out,WITH MY TAKING A LOSS OF MY MONIES,FOR THEIR LACK & INCAPABILITIES OF NOT DOING A JOB WELL DONE! IF YOU WANT TO SEE A BUSINESS PREDATORY UPON PEOPLE AND THEIR MONIES,HERE IT IS:JUST IN TIME PLUMBING AND HEATING !!! It shouldnt have to cost me one red cent more. They should come back and correct their mistakes/ make it right, for their negligence. They are a business, they know better!!! Thank You,****** and *************************.phone # ************

Pex is rated for hot and cold applications. There are no issues with temperature or pressure when using this material. We have already spoke and offered to adjust the temperature up,as these electric water heaters come at 120 degrees from the factory.

********* is correct, the tank water heater does not affect the water pressure. This is controlled by the well pressure switch, expansion tank, and pump (which we do not service). Pressure issues will need addressed by a well company.

This installation and all its components are backed by a 6 year manufacturer warranty- and a 12 month labor warranty through Justin Time. This does include the pipe and fittings standard with EVERY installation

I am rejecting this response because:
there was NEVER a water pressure issue until Just In Time plumbing came, & worked on it. Just in Time keeps trying to find excuses for a job poorly done. Also as I stated:it was all metal lines before , I paid $1775.00 for a job to be well done.I should have had the option of keeping it all metal lines as a paying customer. I AM,AND HAVE PAID FOR THIS SERVICE,IN FULL. I was NOT OFFERED AN OPTION.THIS SHOULD BE MY CHOICE/OPTION,NOT THEIRS. I AM THE PAYING CUSTOMER,PAYING FOR A JOB ,AS I EXPECTED TO BE KEPT ALL METAL LINES.THEY CHOSE TO INSTALL PEX ON THEIR OWN INITIATIVE,WITHOUT EVEN CONVEYING THEIR INTENTIONS TO ME. I DID NOT AGREE TO THOSE TERMS OR INSTALLATION OF PEX.THIS IS THEIR NEGLIGENCE/CALL.AND IM EXPECTED TO PAY : $500.00 to $700.00 FOR THEIR MISTAKES? I THINK NOT ! THEN THEY EXPECT ME TO ACCEPT THEIR EXCUSES FOR INSTALLATION OF THE PEX,WHEN I DIDNT APPROVE OR AUTHORIZE IT? I THINK NOT ! THEN IM EXPECTED TO TAKE A LOSS OF MONIES IF THEY COME AND REMOVE THE WATER HEATER BECAUSE OF THEIR MISTAKES? I THINK NOT! I PAID FOR THIS JOB, NOT JUSTIN NOR *********! IF THEY WANT TO MAKE IT RIGHT, THEY CAN REIMBURSE ME FOR 45% OF THE COSTS(the equivalency of:$500.00 to $700.00 dollars, what they want to charge me,to exchange it from pex to metal),OR COME OUT AND REPLACE IT TO ALL METAL LINES,AT NO COST TO ME.AS IT WAS BEFORE THEY CAME OUT AND WORKED ON IT ! THEY DROPPED THE BALL/MADE THE MISTAKE/chose to do it on their own initiative. I DIDNT PAY FOR THAT SERVICE. I PAID FOR METAL LINES NOT PEX! TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! I DID NOT PAY FOR PEX,NOR AM I GOING TO PAY FOR THEIR BAD CALL OF JUDGEMENT WITHOUT CONSULTING ME! IF I HAVE TO TAKE IT YO SMALL CLAIMS  COURT, IS TOTALLY UP TO THEIR DECISION,THIS COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF THEY WOULD HAVE BROUGHT IT TO MY ATTENTION!THEY ARE A BUSINESS,THEY KNOW BETTER! IT IS STILL CONSIDERED PREDATORY BUSINESS PRACTICES BECAUSE THE WAY THEY ARE NOT MAKING IT/CORRECTING THEIR MISTAKES! SURELY NOT MY MISTAKES!  I DONT TRUST THE **** AND THE FLIMSY CONNECTORS INSTALLED! IT IS MY CHOICE! ONCE AGAIN I PAID FOR THIS SERVICE!!!

This has already been addressed with a response. This job has a water heater installation. Electric, 50 gallon, tank style. Every installation we perform is guaranteed. This tank water heater also has a six-year warranty.

The customer had called after the installation and complained the water was not hot enough. We offered to return and adjust the temperature up above the manufacturer setpoint (these come set to 120).

A tank water heater has nothing to do with water pressure. As the customer was already told, water pressure issues Need to be addressed by a certified well company. We do not work on nor do we repair well systems.

As far as the pex piping, pex is the new standard for water distribution In both residential and commercial applications. This installation did not include any additional piping (The flat rate price he paid was for the same size water heater in the same location), however it was necessary to extend the lines. There was a height difference from the old heater to the new. We extended these pipes at no charge to the customer.

I would like to add, our relationship with this customer is at risk. We have a zero tolerance policy for online bashing and negative reviews. We address all complaints but we will not continue to entertain such bashing.

I reject **** ** ****s response because: I am not internet bashing,I am just telling the truth about the lack of services I received. I paid $1775.00 for these pex lines and connectors. The original water heater was 80 gallons,I replaced it with a 50 gallon. For the cost I paid, they could have left it all metal lines like it originally was, before the installation. If you look at the photos, you can see the way the brand new pex lines bend and lose contour. The way the connectors are, could fail in time because: of the way they are made, and the lines becoming weak with age & wear & tear. I trust the metal and copper lines solidity over this flimsy material.**** ** **** has a 6 year warranty on their work, NOT on my home if:damage should occur because of their being in a hurry/ expediting my job(cutting corners). Just to rush onto the next project for profits,at my expense.I paid (once again)for a job to be well done. This is not well done, when you put on materials of a lesser quality. The Warrenty they have should :also cover their negligence for not requesting what my preference of installation was, before the installation began. I had 3 options: #1.pex(and I never knew pex existed until after my installation). .#2. copper lines ,#3.metal lines I was never offered/asked about my preference/options.**** ** **** is trying to acknowledge/disavow/ accept all responsibilities/ accountabilities  for their actions. They made the judgment  call , not I. They always have(made a judgement call)since I bought it to their attention since/about the installation,(I have had no say so whatsoever)and my not having this bought to my attention, because of their negligence. They are a business, they are professionals, (they could have made a simple phone call from the start)( how long have they been in business?) they know better, ********* the secretary,And the owner/installer: ****** ******* .All **** ** **** is doing is throwing my job under the bus, sweeping it under the rug, hoping it will disappear. Proof of that is:their response/ comments our relationship with this customer is at risk, all that is :is a way to dishonor/walk away from their 6 year warranty agreement of installation.isnt that BREACH OF CONTRACT ???(isnt that also throwing me under the bus, again???). For: rating them on ******* I have also notified;Attorney General Consumer Protection Div.,Also:the Federal Trade Acts Div,Also:The BBB. I am not bashing them. I feel I am the one being bashednow that they have my monies, and are totally ignoring me,now that they have received payment in full from day one. And I FEEL THEY are trying to postpone this until it disappears, or just goes away(they continue to whitewash ,***** Two Step the whole situation). I am a consumer paying for a product/job to be completed, with high expectations for my monies. If I would have known I was going to be receiving this kind of treatment/ service,I would have hired another contractor. They also offered to take it out, at :A out of pocket expenses to me (BUT DID NOT OFFER TO,REPLACE THE LINES FOR THEIR MISTAKES,AT NO COST TO ME).They did offer to:replace the pex with metal lines for:AN ADDITIONAL UPGRADE CHARGE OF $500.00 to $700.00. IF THAT ISNT PREDATORY BUSINESS PRACTICES (especially with all the treatment I have received so far), THEN I GUESS BUSINESSES CAN CONTINUE TO TAKE THEIR PAYING CUSTOMERS FOR GRANTED,AND WALK ALL OVER THEM! And continue to treat them silly nilly ***** as they please. Good help(for your money is sure hard to find,or rely on,or even hire !!!!) My refusal of their response still stands;#A.reimburse me for 45% of the costs I paid (the costs of their so called upgrade of lines from pex to metal.option #2. Or replace the pex with metal or copper lines,at NO ADDITIONAL  COST TO ME WHATSOEVER.IF THEY CONTINUE TO AVOID THIS MATTER,as I stated before, I will be forced to take it to small claims court, and they will be responsible for forcing my hand to do so.they have no one to blame but themselves. And if I do end up taking it to small claims court, not only will I seek these costs (I will also be seeking pay for income/lost time of work/monies/wages,gas expense, frustration or anything  created for/by persuing this matter in court, wear & tear on my vehicle,Attorneys Fees,Court Cost  ,Ect.). The call is your decision ********* and ****** *******. BBB,This is my response in reference to your email the BBB SENT ME. The web site response only allows me 30 minutes to response. (Not enough time allowance to send pictures and send my response with)(and its more explanatory)THIS message replaces the much shorter version/response sent today: July,10,2022 @12:51 EST. And you have my permission to convey this response/reply to:**** ** **** Plumbing and Heating (this is my return response)I have all the time in the world to ****** this matter, until **** ** **** Plumbing and Heating correct the matter and make it right.AND I WILL BRING IT UP TO ANY OTHER GOVERNMENTAL DIVISION /DEPARTMENT THAT WILL LISTEN,UNTIL I RECEIVE JUSTICE & PROPER SERVICES AND TREATMENT FOR MY MONNIES PAID OUT !!!Thank You,*******************************.
