Titan Management group makes you pay at $200 outdoor maintenance fee even though you have to do your own yard remove your own leaves clean up your own yard they don't even take care of the well that is there but they still charge you for well water and which is really bad to drink everybody in the neighborhood buys bottled water so they could drink it or has a saltwater tank. Not sure why they charged the $200 when they do nothing in the yard we clean up our own dog messes we do everything. And I would like this to be fixed I don't see how they can charge you $200 for outdoor maintenance when you even clean your own gutters. When they bought the place they only looked at a couple units and when I moved in the linoleum was ripped from the previous owner when a delivery service delivered a refrigerator a ripped the linoleum this company won't even replace the linoleum or put up new kitchen cabinets or used kitchen cabinets and those cabinets have been there since the 1960s when the place was originally built.

The fees are part of their lease agreement they sign and agree to pay. Those fees have nothing to do with the yard. It is exterior maintenance fee and they are told that well ahead of time. It is not a surprise that its on the lease. We have to maintain the roads in the winter, pick up the extra trash everyone puts out, clean gutters, fix siding, fix gutters and downspouts etc. If you don't agree with a lease then you don't sign and promise to pay it. It's a contract agreed upon. If you don't agree with the terms, then when your lease ends you move out and move to a place you agree upon.

I applied for residency at ******************** Apt D about 2 weeks ago. I got denied stating credit and income. I texted and asked if I can use a co-signer. The reply was yes. My friend ************************* sent the application fee and required documentation. The reply was this is all we need. I received an email for a showing for said apartment. The day and time was 8/1/23 @930am. This was cancelled by the management company. Then another date and time was established, 8/3/23 at 12pm. I showed up for the showing and get a text from agent stating they were getting their oil changed and would have to bump back the time. I replied stating I'm already here. Then I get a response stating I am not eligible for the property due to income. I make over $2900 a month and their limit is $2600. Then I call the office to see what is going on, a very condensing man gets on the phone. very unprofessional stating he can't find this and who am I again. So long story short, they approved me with ************************* as co-signer then reneged on this decision.

The applicant was told right off she didn't qualify for income or credit score. She asked about a co-signer and was told that a co-signer would not get her to be approved it would have to be a ***************** that is going to live in unit and pay bills also. She got a co-signer not a co-applicant and the leasing agents communicated that with her. We followed policies and procedures. She scheduled a showing knowing she still was not approved. The leasing agent discovered that and relayed that to her.

I just want the $50 application fee that ************************* sent refunded.  Obviously, I did not need a co-signer.  Titan Management told me I needed a co-signer for the credit part and still denied me for credit.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

[I have not received a refund for ***************************** application fee, since she was not needed.

    Regards,

    *******************

Why was ************************* called to confirm she would be living with me if she wasn't a co-applicant.  We can not let Titan Management use words interchangeable like co-signer and co-applicant.  I was told I needed both, so I got one; **************************  Since Titan Management is saying I didn't know one; that I was flat out denied, then refund the $50 co-application fee she paid.  That is all I want

I just currently moved out and I just got my refund back and was very disappointed in the statement, half of what was on the statement my girlfriend and I did from sweeping and mopping to the bathroom and cabinets and countertops, but for some reason we still got charged for it, because when we left the place it was spotless besides the oven and dishwasher, but it's whatever I guess no point in taking action in this and spending my hard earned money on court, just very disappointed overall.
