Window installation that was hired out in December of 2022 that is still not resolved. This was a $98,000 job. They refused to complete the installation so I am seeking compensation for the incomplete installation. I attached a full list of every issue that either occured or is still occuring.

We are engaged in talks with ******* LLC to resolved his issues and complaints. We have offered to repair issues he has raised, but he has refused to accept our remedies. I have also been consulting with our attorney and we are hopeful can come to a resolution that both parties can accept. A final offer and demand from us to ******* is imminent. We should have the dispute resolved shortly.

      Thanks

We purchased windows from McComb ***************************** back in Aug 2021 for a total of 19 windows (replacing all windows in our house). The delivery date communicated was Nov 10, 2021. A few weeks after the order was placed, we were contacted that they would be delayed and would not be available until November 30. The first installation date we could get was December 10. However, one of our windows would not be received until January 2022, so a second installation date was set. When Dec 10 came around, only 8 windows arrived. We were told they were at the warehouse and would arrive before week's end. The installers installed half of the windows but had to wait. The second set did not come that week - they had not yet been delivered from Pella as was previously communicated. 2 weeks later (now Dec 23), our second set of windows (10 more) arrived. This was quite disruptive to our work and holiday schedules, but we accommodated the delay. The last window, scheduled now to come in February 2022, did not arrive when scheduled. We had stayed home several days to receive it and when we contacted the salesman, he was checking into the status (it was on the truck when we first called, but then changed to had not been received from Pella). When the window finally arrived an external arch trim was not received and the internal trim was broken, and not the right color. The new window was installed with our permission, but the outside and inside arch trim was "make-shifted" to sort of cover exposed insulation. The window itself is not completely sealed and only partially installed and we have moisture on the window in the mornings. The missing outside arch and inside replacement trim have been ordered, but communication has been poor. There is currently no estimation of when this job will be complete. We paid in full up front, which we would never recommend to anyone with this company. We have no leverage and have not been able to get accurate status or prioritization.

I am a contractor and signed a contract in June on behalf of a client to purchase and have installed of new windows and doors form Mccomb window and door. I was told as I signed the contract that they would be installed later July. 3 days later I was told it would be 2nd week of august now. Fine! Around July 28th I called and asked what exact date was so client could be prepared. No answer from sales rep, so I texted him. He immediately responds via text and says weve been moved to Oct install. I call him immediately and of coarse no answer. Oct 5th comes and they begin install. Installer tells me day 1 that many glass panels are broke, 1 door was measured wrong, a few windows are smashed and couldnt even be installed and various metal sash are missing. To this day Nov 17 no one has called me to tell me that the install was complete the week of 10/5, what was wrong, what needs to be done yet or what their plan of action is moving forward to fix any of those problems. I have called numerous times and been forwarded to different people. No one can see what needs done yet, but they all have said they will get back w me. None have! My customer is over the top ****** as this was the final piece of their remodel and the home is going on the market. I spent over $85,000 and have a home thats not done, which started the process in June and was suppose to be done the end of July. The salesman oversold and under-performed in all ends of the project. He said all material was produced in house and they dont have delays. He knew the house was going on the market and when delays began, he stopped answering my calls.

Our apologies for not replying to this earlier.  We are aware of the complaint and had been trying to get a hold of ****************.  He still owes us quite a bit of money, so were as eager as anyone to get it resolved.  We were finally able to communicate and have also performed a walk thought with him.  There are several outstanding issues that we are planning to address, but let us know if you need anything else for now.  Thanks!
