I placed an online order for customized fortune cookies for my upcoming baby shower on 9/25/22. I received my package 9/30/22 and was so excited about receiving my package, however, the design I received is not the design I chose online. It does not look anything like it is advertised online. It doesnt have the chocolate drizzle, its just plain. I emailed the business twice with no response. Given that my baby shower is coming up, resending the correct product will not come in time. An acknowledgment/apology with partial or full refund should be reasonable from this business.Please advise.Business response

The drizzle option was not selected at checkout. The customer emailed at 6:15 PM on 9/30. An emailed response was sent the next business day, Monday, October 3rd. Under the picture it states the cookies are shown "with the drizzle option". Screen shots are attached as well as the customers invoice where they declined any sprinkles or drizzle, selecting only Milk, Dark, and White chocolate dipped cookies.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined the response would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I did NOT receive any correspondence from this company, there response is inaccurate.! In addition, there was not an option online regarding adding drizzle, given that the image reflected differently. No need to pursue this complaint any further. I am displease with lack of communication regarding a customer complaint from this company. Bad business.thanks and have a beautiful day.

After placing an order and giving full payment for **** fortune cookies from Fancy Fortune Cookies, the company has not handled our orders accordingly. After having one shipment of 250 cookies be held up at Customs in ******, we sent several requests and calls to their offices to release the cookies using DDP and to send all required documentation. Sending all the info to the company in a detailed email, the company failed to reply or answer the call until I was able to reach **** at the company who said she was handling it and would update me by the end of the day which she didnt. Not to mention, due to these cookies being held up, I requested that the remaining cookies being sent to ****** be delivered to our office address, with full instructions on how to ship it so they wouldn't be stuck at customs, which **** again failed to do. This resulted in us losing out on half of our **** cookies to be delivered and no reply, apology, or anything received from ****. The way they have handled our order after receiving the money was HORRIBLE and I tried to resolve it professionally and she still would not reply or answer or return any of my calls. What an awful experience!! We are requesting to be refunded as we paid a total of $2784.69 for **** cookies and half was supposed to go to ****** and the others to **. The ** should receive their cookies but ****** will not so now we are out the expense. **** has failed to reply to my request for a refund and she has really been unprofessional since she received the full payment. It's really sad to see small businesses act like this, especially after the difficult year so many other companies have had during Covid. I would never refer anyone to this company again and I hope that action is taken.
