I took my car to Mr ********************** approximately mid March after being in an accident. I paid **** ( the owner) ***** upfront to get the repair done. He said it was a big job and could take one month. One month goes by and I call and nothing has been touched on the car. Another month goes by and nothing. So i tell **** that this is not going to work and he tells me to give him a break that he has been struggling, I just want my money and car back. So i take possession of my car and he said he would pay me back in 10 days I go back in 10 days and nothing, he tells me come back Tuesday. I go back Tuesday the 14th of June and he has been evicted from his workplace, there are tow trucks taking all the cars. Now I can not get a hold of him or his staff.Initial Complaint

I spoke to the body shop on December 8th and was advised that they were able to complete a estimate on the damages to my vehicle by the next day after I drop the vehicle off. Also advised that they would be able to start the repairs right after. This body shop was considered due to the other body shops stating that they were booked until mid February. I dropped my vehicle off December 10th signed the paper work and provided my insurance adjusters info. I called daily and the lady at the desk kept saying no one was working, someone was sick or they will be In later. She took my name and number but no one called me back. This was going on for weeks. I stopped in and she said nobody was there. Its February 9th they have not started repairs, did not send my insurance a estimate, does not answer nor return phone calls. Ive been paying out of pocket for a rental. I spoke with one guy two weeks ago stated the parts were going to be in by Thursday. They never ordered any parts. This body shop does not care in regards to the customer. My insurance company stated that the body shop said they did not have the right tools to do the estimate. My insurance company sent me a check for the repairs off of pictures the insurance company used to make a estimate. Need help with this body shop. Any good faith with the rental or the deductible since they are giving me the run arounds. Also told the guy when he did call me that if they are booked I can pick my vehicle up and take it to another shop since caliber called and had space. Thats when he advise that the parts were coming in and never did.
