I paid the rent in full for October in the amount of $905. October 5th, I came home to water running through my roof. I reported the leak the next day (10/6) when the office opened and no one even took the time out to inquire or look into it. It is now November 18th and the only person to arrive is a carpet cleaner that left fans to dry the carpet. He also at this time made me aware that it would be pointless to clean the carpet seeing as though the leak was not resolved. As of 11/17/2023, the maintenance person arrived to tell me they have assessed the issue. It was a leaky shower from the third floor (I live on the 1st floor); so I shouldnt have anymore issues. I received a call today (11/18/23) saying they will not be able to get to the repairs until after the holidays. That is not fair to me. I have expressed that I am beginning to get headaches and I was preparing for family to come to my home to celebrate and now I dont feel comfortable. Im not sure if the carpet is developing mold and do not want to be responsible for anyone getting ill. I just dont know what else to do. I have not paid rent for the month and I do not think that I should seeing as though they are MAKING me live in a unhealthy and unstable environment.Business response

This an issue that should be handled by Rencon Management, who manages the ************************. I am just a volunteer who happens to be President of the Association. Either Rencon Management or the owner of the unit is responsible for any tenant issues.
