We checked into this hotel on 9/29/21 for 3 nights. The room was in disrepair and showed many years of neglect. You could not turn off the bathtub (the water ran 24/7), the toilet barely flushed toilet paper, the desk lamp was broken, the shade on the bed lamp was not secured, the pillows were horrible, the carpet was filthy, the ice machine was broken and on the second day of our stay, the one and only elevator broke. I had open heart surgery 5 months earlier and climbing 4 flights of stairs to our room for the rest of the trip was brutal. There was NO housekeeping.When I complained, they offered to move us to another room - but the heat/ac didn't work in that room, so I declined. I called corporate on 10/1 and was assured that I would receive a call back within a week; to date, no one has called me. On 10/7, I received a generic email from them with a weak apology offering me **** points on my account - which is meaningless to me. I emailed them back and received an auto-responder assuring me that someone would be in touch, but no one has responded. The $421.81 they charged should be fully refunded.
