Concord Cars Inc., formerly located in Elkhart, IN, was recently purchased by S&H Auto Group and is no longer in operation. However, consumers have reported being misled by what appears to be a scam website: https://concordcarselkhart.com.
The website in question claims to represent Concord Cars and instructs consumers that the business is now “online only.” According to reports, it requires full payment for vehicles upfront, after which the vehicle will allegedly be shipped to the buyer at a rate of $0.80 per mile for a 10-day “test-drive” period. This business lists contact information based in Lafayette, LA, and is not affiliated with the original Concord Cars Inc. of Elkhart, IN. Additionally, there are suspected fake Facebook pages using the Concord Cars Inc. name.
Please note that S&H Auto Group is a legitimate business operating in Elkhart and is not connected to this scam in any way.
