I was quoted for work to be done. They came and did the work in approximately 2.5 hours. All old paint was supposed to be removed with sanding, it was not, they then painted over the old paint. Applied 2-3 coats of paint without giving the coats any time to dry in between. There was paint in my landscaping and dripped onto the side of my house. I was told I didn’t need to put anything down to protect ground. When I asked about the work that had been done, I was told that he (Bruce) felt sorry for me and that’s why they quoted me so low, and this should be the work that I should expect for the price I was given. Total cost of service was $600. I now have to remove all of the paint that was applied and have it sanded correctly to be repainted.Business response

Here are the facts per BVZ Painting
BVZ worked 2 days with 2 men totaling 13 hours. We scraped, sanded w electric sanders, primed & applied the finish coat. Customer supplied the primer & finish paint. it was discussed with the customer that the primer was very thin & I didn't feel it was correct. it was also discussed with the customer that the soffits were trapping in moisture & I professional felt that was what was causing the paint to peel. customer approved all finish work & paid the agreed amount. I am denying the request to return the money due to customer supplying the paint. All work was done in the highest professional manor. I feel the primer didn't bond with the wood resulting in paint failure. Bruce **********
