      Run away. Any call to the office is at least 10 minutes on hold. Good luck ever speaking to a person. Messages left with New Patient Coordinators are just a black hole. Calls and messages go in and nothing comes out. If you cannot pay the $200 fee the moment you schedule an appointment, you have no hope of ever seeing anyone. I was in a pool when they called to schedule - no credit card in hand. I called back the same day and left a message. Called back a number of other times to pay the fee. No message was ever returned. Called again after 10 days of waiting and they canceled the appointment because I had not paid the $200. I didn't pay the $200 because no one would return my messages. There are many other psychiatrists out there. IHG is not worth your time or your money.

      Good staff, helpful counselors, good location in central Indianapolis.All around good for treatment of mental health issues. Greatly helped my anxiety.

      This group charged my son 300$ and would not see him because he didn't have his paperwork ready.

      Hi *** I am so sorry to hear that you feel this way. I hope that I can help you to understand our position. From a legal standpoint, this paperwork is required by law, specifically giving us permission to treat. The other information that we collect in this initial paperwork is very valuable. When completed in advance, our clinical staff can familiarize themselves with the individual, it gives them insight into what is going on in that persons life, a glimpse into their history and therefore allows them to provide a higher level of personalized care. Our new patient coordinators are highly experienced and explain the importance of this paperwork during the initial phone call. I also know that if it is not received prior to the appointment date, they will send follow up reminders. If you were unable to complete this for your child in advance, you would have been allowed to reschedule the appointment. We would love the opportunity to discuss this with you personally.       He could have filled out the paperwork while waiting or during his appointment. The penalty of taking his 300$ deposit then requesting another 300$ to make anothet appointment is beyond bad business. He was about to log on and was stopped instead of being told to complete the paperwork before seeing the therapist. I've experienced enough life situations to know this could have been handled differently. Also the way I talked to when I called to try to understand why my son was denied his appointment 5 min before he logged on. *BAD BUSINESS!

      On two different occasions I had called because the girls at the front desk had mixed up the days for my scheduling, and rather than taking responsibility for their mistakes, they took a real negative attitude with me, and refused all responsibility. My time scheduled away from work to meet with them is vital that they provide me with accurate meeting dates so that I can request it off in advance. Even when I was put on hold their recordings speak of Indiana Health Group spreading the love of ******, and then this is how they treat their customers! All I wanted was an apology for her behavior, and the office manager refused. So this is how IHG spreads the love of ******? Even my psychologist agreed over the phone with me that the front desk girl was out of line and should apologize. I said if I was to continue with IHG I wanted an apology, and they won't even give me that. IHG is willing to lose years of my payments to both my psychologist and a psychiatrist all because they would rather hold onto their pride and not have their female employees apologize for their unprofessional behavior toward the client and scheduling mistakes. What a horrible, horrible business strategy!It's this kind of side stepping that enables people to keep misbehaving toward others. It doesn't stop if no one is ever held accountable for their mistakes. Do not trust this company to do what is right and hold their employees accountable when they are the ones in the wrong. I will spread this information to as many websites as possible so people learn of how IHG functions. Pride is more important to them than simply giving an apology for being in the wrong.
