BELOW THE LINE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! 8 times my family contacted CD One due to lost “Gentlemen’s Warehouse” fine wool mens dress vest. No apologies were offered. After extreme stress and frustration, a dollar compensation for replacement value was not given. The fee we paid to have our garment dry cleaned was not refunded. Sad to say this company went from a 5 star review to a one! Impossible to leave a zero. After years and years and literally thousands of dollars in paid dry cleaning fees…. this is how it will be left? Shame on you CD ONE! Shame on you!Review from Sara K

They are stealing f customers. They have staff that takes guesses on fabrics and charge you more money on basic shirts. Staff at the location in ***********, ******** dont know much but do charge the highest price. No where does it say the prices nor do they have signs the different material fabrics prices in shirts. I asked for the policy and they couldnt provide one. I wonder why? They assume they know fabrics but never do they check the tags inside, they only touch the shirts. Hello ****, we are sorry you feel this way as it was never our intention to miscommunicate how CD One Price Cleaners operates. No two garments are the same, but that doesnt mean you should need to be charged differently to have them cleaned. We check in and tach each item that you leave in our care and sort them according to their cleaning needs. This is done by checking the manufacturer label which indicates if an item can be wet cleaned or dry cleaned. Our services do not charge based on fabric but cleaning process. Laundered and pressed shirts include men's and women's basic dress shirts that do not have pleating or details. This is why we pride ourselves with have one price and transparent pricing at that. My father came in for a stain, the stain was marked by the employee, upon picking up the item the stain was not removed and the employee would not offer a refund and did not apologize for the inconvenience. Looks *************** is lacking and so is common sense be very careful when you bring items to be cleaned at cd one cleaners, I brought a suit there one time when I picked it up it did not smell 100% fresh thank you ( UNFAIR CONSUMER PRACTICE )Cleaners Depot Franchise, LLC Response

I have been a customer of ********************** at *********************************************** in ***************** for at least five years because of its proximity to my neighborhood. Therefore, when the cleaners lost a belt off my new raincoat, I believed that they would "make good" by compensating me in some way. Instead, "******" of their so-called "customer service" division called and said they would not do so, basically accusing me of being one of those complaining customers they "get all the time" who either try to scam them or, being of an addled mindset, saying they lost something when really they did not.Not only did ****** insult me, she yelled and interrupted me throughout the conversation, even after I asked her not to and modeled a non-interruption mode of conversation with her. She also claimed it was the company's policy to warn customers they were not responsible for lost or damaged items. Yes, that's true, in a sense--although the only warning to that effect is in 8 pt. agate type in faint **** on the back of their receipts. My recommendation: DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH CD-ONE PRICE CLEANERS. If anything goes wrong, you'll have to face "******" in "customer service." I have been going to this location on *****************, ******** ** since it opened. The very 1st time around 2019 i brought several items and when i got them back, 2 cardigans were not cleaned very well. there were still stains on them. I didn't bother to bring them back as i thought as they were vintage items, stains were harder to remove. 2 weeks ago, i had my son bring 2 coats, 1 was a North Face fleece jacket with white sleeves and bottom. There were stains on the creases and wouldn't come off even after i've handwashed them. So when I had my son bring it over to them, I told him to let them know about those stains so they can pay attention to them and ensure they are removed. when my son took them back, the other coat was good but this North Face jacket still had the same stains as they were before. So i called and told them about it and they said to bring it back to them so they can redo it. So my son brought it back and when he got it back, everything was clean !!! i was so happy and very satisfied. so I called them to let them know that they did a good job in removing the stains but this should have been done the first time; not have the customer come back to have it redone, isn't that the reason why it's called CD cleaners? the customer shouldn't need to point out where the stains; you should be looking at them to see where they are so you are able to remove them. The girl who answered forwarded me to the owner, ******, so he can explain to me the process. So i told him what I told the girl and he repeatedly told me that his staff are human beings, not robots, that they make mistakes. Of course ! no cleaners have robots !!!! and that if I am not satisfied with their service, I should go to other places.
