      LRS acquired Prarieland Disposal. I was on automatic payment for all my refuse services - when the new company (LRS) took over I set up automatic payment with them as well. I am fully paid up on my account but I continue to get invoices from LRS for old services that is from some other phantom account. As I said - IM FULLY PAID UP and I have an impeccable credit rating.I have called them at least 10 times and spent countless hours on the phone attempting to resolve. Every time they acknowledge that the issue is theirs and the say they will issue a credit - but they never do. They are acting in bad faith and are harassing me with invoices from years ago. They have demonstrated that by overtly lying to me every time I call that they will issue whatever credit is needed to stop the invoices that they cannot be trusted. Please help me. This is NOT how A+ rated businesses operate. I just saw the question about speaking with the media - and yes I am willing to - in fact I know a producer at one of the major networks here in *******.

      I continue to receive an invoice which continues to incur charges for garbage disposal. I only receive these via email, they have never been mailed out since I no longer live at the property and the property is dilapidated. This has been an ongoing issue for two years. I canceled service with Prairie garbage disposal at the end of 2021 and yet I continue to be billed. I mean a simple indication that services aren't being rendered yet charged are the fact that the garbage cans have been taken away. I reached out numerous times to the company including today. I was told that someone indicated that billing should have stopped, yet it continues. This is ridiculous. I haven't paid them a cent and keep incurring monthly billing. My account should have been at 0.00 in 2021. It shows as of today $700 plus dollars outstanding. This is completely illegal. They need to rectify this matter.

      LRS has the same address, phone, etc. as Prairieland Disposal and am assuming they are the same. The took over from Lakes Disposal my previous trash collector, and even though I pay my bills every month, through a third-party bill pay system from my credit union, I am constantly over charged. I have tried to reconcile this, with proof of payment , etc, but they just look at their billing statement numbers, and refuse to admit that they got their payments, and my account should be current. Their explanations really make no sense, and the solution should be simple. I pay every month, and I can prove that I pay every month, but they keep telling me that I owe them money for some reason. I have included a summary of payments from 2022 to current to Lakes disposal and then to LRS, who took over for Lakes. I have included the monthly billing for October and current, and a copy of the e-mails that pertain to the Oct billing. Hoping for a resolution from you, as their responses are not consistent and do not address the fact that if I pay every month and I can prove that they have been paid, how can my account be anything but current. I have e-mailed them the copies of the proof of payment from the Bill pay service. I can supply these to you if needed.

      I signed up for garbage service in the summer of ************************************************** the mail. Unbeknownst to me, sometime in the late summer of 2022 LRS took over the business and stopped sending me billing statements. Fast forward to 10/27/23, I called Prairieland/LRS after receiving a threatening letter. Representative ****** (unsure of spelling) advised my account was on paperless billing, I told her the account was changed without my permission and that I do not check the email address, no one advised me of the change, that I never requested paperless billing, I never inquired about paperless billing, and I never signed up to use the company's website. She had the most recent bill mailed to me. Prior to receiving this letter in the mail, the company never attempted to call me about my account.I called the company again on 11/16/23 and spoke to **********. She was rude and essentially lied to me. I asked her to have each of the outstanding billing statements mailed to me so i could pay them. After explaining the company's error on my account, she advised she could not waive the late charges on my account. When I asked for a supervisor, she said there isn't one available and someone would call me back in ***** hours. As of 12/10/23, I have not received the requested billing statements in the mail AND no one has called me back.Required resolution: Prairieland/LRS needs to mail me copies of each outstanding billing statement as promised so I can pay the bills as they were originally charged, needs to make sure my account remains on paper billing, and needs to remove ALL late charges that have been (or will be) fraudulently charged to my account due to THEIR billing errors. They need to mail me an apology letter that ALL fraudulent late charges have been (or will be) removed (including all fraudulent charges accrued until the account is brought current).

      LRS is Sending a re occuring monthy balance for an account that we never recieved recycling or garbage cans or service for... -Me and my husband have called repeatedly and they keep saying... "The account is closed and to ignore the bill..." - we have been receiving the same **** since we moved into *********** in November of 2022.- I keep calling every time we recieve another bill and they say the same thing "the account is closed and to ignore the bill..." - the total balance is ****** and rising, Stated as "Finance" charge reoccuring @ 3.55$ per cycle - I state to them every time we've called.... "we cannot justify paying a bill for services never recieved or rendered and if ************ in collections we would be taking it up with the BBB, and filing a complaint."- we just want them to cancel or adjust the account balance to "0" for the services we never received, and rectify unjust Billing reoccuring - the bills have continued and I would appreciate all your assistance in this matter.

      I have had prairieland disposal since 2019. I have received very poor service, missed pickups, missed promises, and now unwarranted charges. In the last several months my pickup was missed at least 5 times. I called to cancel service because I am no longer willing to have poor service. I was told I would owe for this month and for bin pickup. I should not owe for this month due to all the missed pickups. I am being told bin pickup is because I didn't pay upfront, but I did and their records just don't go past the business name change in 2022. I want nothing more than to walk away from this company, have them take their cans, and not owe them for the terrible service.

      I've paid my bills to this garbage company and they repeatedly do not pick up the trash or yard waste on the scheduled date. I've had to get stickers for my yard waste and the stickers are falling off because it has been so long and they still haven't picked it up. I've paid for service for regular garbage/recycling AND yard waste. I've called the office so many times. One time they did return a voicemail. Other times, after waiting on hold for 30 minutes, they'll pick up and tell me there's a work order in with dispatch for service that day---AND THEY STILL DON'T PICK UP THE GARBAGE. I've called them so many times!!!!!! Please help get some resolution.

      I was a customer of ********************************************* until Dec. 31, 2021. I actually cancelled the service on 12/22/21. I discovered in early January that we had already paid for the first quarter of 2022 and called Prairieland on Jan. 3 to request a refund, was told that it was in progress and expect to received it by the end of the month. Called again on Feb.15 because the refund was not received. Was told that there was no record of my earlier call. Was told then to expect refund within 6 weeks. I still have not received the refund after numerous phone calls and promises, acknowledgement that I was owed the refund, etc. Prairieland has now been purchased by LRS and they have no record of my account. Refund due is $66 per my original conversation with Prairieland.

      I sold the house located on 3582Plymouth Ln, Island Lake IL 60042 on Mat 26th 2021 and this garbage company Prairie Land , charged me for 3 months service from April to June 30ty 2021, I requested the refund for 35 days and they refuse to send me the refund saying that the request should be 45 days in advance, this is a rip off policy that I never heard about it before, is illegal to get my money for a service that I am not in benefit of anymore. I am looking to gte my $26back, ASAP.

      Prairieland disposal has a 45 day cancelation policy.  It is clearly listed on the reverse side of our bills, as well as on our website.  We do apologize for any inconvenience or frustration but as it is a standard policy, and clearly visible to all of our customers, we will need to stand by our policy.

      The set of emails that was sent over from the customer confirms our policies.  We stated then as we are now, the 45 day cancelation policy is clearly written on the back of each of our bills and available on our website.  In regards to the attached email - it is 45 days from the day the account is set up for closure - your paid for June and canceled service May 26 - that would put you into July which is why there was no refund processed.

      I am rejecting this response because: I sold the house on May 25, this is just a rip off policy that I don't agree with it, the account should be closed on that date and refund the money, why should I pay the garbage for the time that I am not living at that address anymore?
