In October of 2022 I went to Midas because my battery had went out. I also knew I had problems with my gear shift and I asked them to fix the battery AND the gear shift issue. **** fixed the battery and gave me a new terminal and then said the reason why my gear shift was having trouble was because my car was losing power due to battery issues. I asked him SEVERAL TIMES if he was sure that was the issue. He said yes. Three days later, my check engine light came BACK on. Recently, I went back to the other Midas in Champaign and explained the situation to the manager in Champaign and he told me that **** was incorrect and he lied to me. Then, I continued to call Corporate and Corporate also told me that **** was wrong. **** had recently called me and was extremely rude to me and berated me and told me that I didn't know what I was talking about and that I could '******' it and I didn't understand him.Business response

The customer came in for a diagnosis of car not starting. The diagnosis showed the battery was dead, and battery terminal was dead. We replaced the battery and fixed the issue. The work was completed in October of 2022.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
The manager was extremely rude and berating on the phone and insisted that I was an idiot.
