Truck 297 was merging on I-10 west from loop 202 in ******* ** Around 330 pm. This driver was following so close to my bumper I could not see them. The only thing I could see was his grill. They did not leave themselves an out. He did not aim high in steering. He was not checking his mirrors and cutting cars off. He crossed over a double white line when merging on the 10. As he is going by he activated his air horn for more than 10 secs and speed off as fast as he could. To top it off I was transporting a pregnant woman. The driver needs to be fired. They have severe road rage. I did not see any evidence that the driver knows the 5 keys to the ***** system.

I highly doubt this review will be left up long since road knights will just pay for it to be removed. Road knights is great on equipment maintenance, but they are a morally deficient, disorganized, deceitful, and two faced company. Dispatch, safety, and maintenance rarely know what the other is doing or planning. They will routinely lie to shippers recievers as to the reasons for delays, will edit drivers logs without even telling the driver why. They will charge drivers over and above any citations regardless of how small, while rejecting any culpability for their own mistakes. Road Knights will allow brokers to routinely bend them over the barrel, and will NOT fight to get their drivers paid for delays or detention. This company has ruined its reputation with many brokers, and drivers who wanted nothing but the best for them. This company consistently loses drivers due to harassing phone calls, lack of organization, and poor cross department communication. Road knights has a few people who work in the offices that know all the reasons for why they are failing, yet don't have enough seniority or pull to correct the disgusting, immoral, and injust policies consistently put in place. I know they consistently had to get drivers to recover equipment, and since they lied so often it was hard to believe that they had no part in why drivers were abandoning their equipment. ***** could care less about being corrected, and a portion of the dispatchers will tell whatever lie they have to, not only to the brokers, but their own drivers just to get a load. I wouldn't be surprised if JBS was the only remaining reason they can still remain in operation. A fact which the broker knows and manipulates. Do not come work for this company, I entered with thousands in savings, more in investments, and left in debt. This company is a shining beacon of a majority of the faults within the commercial trucking industry. I can say 2K characters Is not enough to fully cover their flaws.

The BBB is usually a standard to measure honesty of payments to creditors. For Road Knights' *** ability to keep their heads above the water line is worth noting. I worked for this company at a hire rate of pay of .80 cpm. After a month of running short loads and struggling to put together many miles per week, I was told by a recruiter that my rate of pay was no long workable. They offered me .15 cpm less but didn't offer more miles. ** that rate of pay, I could drive an Uber locally and make more money. All this offering and changes in rate of pay took place 50 miles from their parking spaces. I was told that I was fired if I didn't accept the latest offer in pay decrease. I was unloading at the docks in ****************, ** when Road Knights fired me. I drove from the docks to a ** and contacted Road Knights *** as to the whereabouts of their truck. I was told my pay is on hold until I drive the truck back to their parking which is at I-90 and I-55. OK, you know you just fired me so I spoke with a DOT trooper who was inside the ** at the time. He advised me that he wouldn't drive the truck to the parking spaces for nothing and then expect to get paid. To make a long scenario short, Road Knights sent a driver to drive me to a truck stop where they said they would provide an Uber and lease car back to *****. Never happened, the state trooper was right. I ended up paying for the entire trip back to ***** which amounted to about $600. then I was charged $150. for truck recovery. I'm don't think Road Kights will be in business very long if they continue making these deals. My advise is beware drivers.
