My name is *************************** and I first started C2 so I could improve my ACT score. When I went for the first few sessions I didn't get a good impression. Around my third time going, my tutor was *** and he did try to help me understand the criteria but when he assigned homework he gave me the answer key and told me not to tell my parents. In my first session with *** he was very strict. When I wasn't understanding the math he was getting angry and said If you had listened 2 minutes ago then you would see that.. I asked the other girls that were present during our session if *** always gets this mad when someone doesn't understand the math and they said yes. I brushed off whatever happened during that session and continued with the next. During my second session with *** he got so mad that it made me so stressed I tried holding back my tears. I also saw how he was treating the other student during our session which was unacceptable. He was speaking to him with such anger and the poor boy was too scared to say anything. During the second half of my second session with *** he was gone for exactly 20 minutes straight. I told ***** and she said that she didn't know where he was either and nothing was done. I ended up not continuing to study for the ACT and started preparing my college essay which was all online. I had ******* and she was great, however before a few of the sessions started I saw on the screen that she had to tutor 3 students (including me). In my opinion that is too much for a tutor to take on in just 2 hours and I didnt get all of the help I needed. Whenever I raised my hand (digitally) she would take more than 10 minutes to come and I would just be wasting time during this session on my phone when I could've been getting help. Every minute wasted was money wasted. This continued to go on for the next 5 sessions and I would wait for her to come back but she was busy helping other students. 5 sessions could have been turned into 2 if she had less students to tutor. I'm kindly asking you on behalf of my parents to return more than 70% of their money back. My parents work very hard and wanted me to have an opportunity to start on the right track for college but with these things that I experienced with C2 it was not worth it and I wish to not continue going to C2. When we asked for a refund for whatever hours I didn't use we were told that we could only get 50% back, even though we were told initially that we could get 70% back. This is absurd and my parents (*** and ***************************) wish to get more than 70% back.
