I bought 1800 dollars worth of wheels and tires from these guys, and when they sold them too me, they said it was guaranteed fits and everything I needed was included. The day I got the wheels, I had them put on at a tire shop and paid 100 bucks. When I drove home, I noticed a significant vibration in my BRAND NEW car. I immediately called and got a vm. I left a msg explaining and asked for a call back. No call ever came. 2 days later I called again and got a voice-mail. I left yet another msg asking for a call back. None came. I called today and was told by a rep he "couldnt" transfer me to a manager because I have to be put in a cue but he said no one was in front of me and 3 managers were available so he "guaranteed " me a call within and hour. It's been almost 2 and still no call. Took my car to a mechanic shop and he immediately said where are you centering hub rings? That is why your car is vibrating so much, and it's dangerous to drive it with so much play in the wheels. Come to find out, they were never sent to me apparently, even though when I placed the order I was told the order would include e erything for a perfect fit for my vehicle. I'm so tired of dealing with this place that don't care about even returning a call. I have to drive a dangerous vehicle on the road because I chose to order from this companyInitial Complaint

On 11/28/21 I paid $3969.75 for four wheels with mounted and balanced tires, lug nuts and center caps. On 12/20/21 I received my order. All four wheels showed damage, either scratches or a finish issue and screws were missing from the order. I spoke with local mechanics and car specialists, they advised that is not how the wheels should come, and I should return them. SD Wheel has been extremely hard to work with, to get these damaged wheels replaced at no cost to me. They either want me to use my own materials to repackage the wheels (wrap 300lb of oversized wheel in Saran Wrap) or pay out of pocket to remove the wheels from the tires and remount the tires on new wheels they will ship (and I will only be partly reimbursed for the labor). I have contacted three separate tire companies where I live, no one charges less than 176 and SD wont reimburse me over 125. They also offered me 250 refund to keep the damaged wheels. I have a full email chain documenting my interaction with them and I have now asked three times for the supervisors name, as well as contact info. All requests have been deflected and not been fulfilled. On the fourth request ******* refused to give me his supervisors name, citing privacy reasons. Basically Ive received damaged product and Im either expected to pay out of pocket to get new, undamaged product or improperly package the items to return and likely have them damaged in transit.Business response

Hello,
We apologize for the issues you have had with this order. We never would intend for any of our customers to have a less than stellar experience with us. We show that the supervisor in question did reach out to you roughly 2 hours ago to approve that $176 refund for mounting and balancing. As for returning the wheels, we don't have any other option than having you re-wrap them to return them. This is the same as order an item that ships in a large box. Typically, if that box is destroyed, there is no way to return it unless the manufacturer, ships you an empty box to repackage it in. Please send us a response via email and we will get this all taken care of rigt away!

I purchased a set of 4 tires and wheels for my vehicle. Upon delivery I noticed one wheel was significantly damaged. After paying to have the tire removed so I could send back the damaged wheel I received a replacement from SD Wheel. Then when attempting to mount the wheels/tires I discovered the lug bolts sent to me did not fit. I contacted SD Wheel and sent them photos of the fitment problem and was told a new, properly sized set would be sent to me immediately. After a month went by and no lugs were received I contacted SD Wheel again and this time I was informed that they didn't have the lugs I needed. Since they couldn't provide me properly sized lugs for the wheels I bought from them I requested a return/refund. SD Wheel denied my request stating that over 30 days had passed and the return timeframe is closed. The only reason it was outside of the 30 days was because I was waiting for the lugs to arrive that they said they were sending me. To top it all off, the photos on their website look significantly different than the wheels do in person. I know that it can be hard to accurately capture color and finish in a photo but these are very different. The description also stated the color of the wheels were silver and hyperblack but what I received was nowhere near black but a consistent silver color all around. I can't believe that after misleading photos, misleading descriptions, and negligent customer service when addressing problems with the order that they won't simply accept a return due to all these issues that are their fault, not mine.Business response

We will be more than happy to work with you to get you a refund for the lug bolts. As for the wheels, we understand receiving product that does not look exactly like what was pictured can be frustrating. We get all of our pictures from the suppliers and it is hard to get pictures for every size wheel. If the wheels have not been driven on there may be something we can do to help. On/about December 7, 2020. SD Wheel completed their installation of my lift kit and under-car lighting system. The lift kit was purchased through SD wheel. My light kit was purchased online from another vendor and installed by SD wheels. April 16, 2021 my truck caught fire during the night. Insurance investigator stated the cause was from an negligent install of the lighting system. The power line did not have a fuse which would of protected my truck from a fire. I tried talking with the manager who at first stated he did not recall what parts he installed with my lighting kit and since it was not purchased through them are not held reliable. As an electrical professional to the next , we know that a fuse is a very important and safety issue on any electrical kit. I contacted the vendor where I bought the lighting kit. The kit being low quality still included a pigtail with a fuse and agreed with me that the installer failed to install the fuse on the hot wire.Business response

We are sorry to here that this happened with your vehicle. However, you brought your vehicle to us with a 3rd party product, we notified you of the poor quality of the light kit in which you agreed to install anyway. We installed the kit with all parts that you supplied to us. We cannot be held liable for anything that happens after the fact. We are an honest company which is why we notified you of the quality of the kit in the first place. We hope you understand where we are coming from on this.

I am rejecting this response because:The quality of the kit is not in question. I confirmed that their was a fuse that was provided with the kit. When SD wheels put my lift kit on my truck, they gave me a courtesy call that I needed spacers on the rear to keep my airbags. If they did not see the fuse, why did I not get the courtesy call that you did not see the fuse in the kit? Professional and honest? Let’s make this right.

The answer to your question is as we mentioned. We installed everything that was given to us as is. We can not speak for what was there or not there. What we can confirm is that there was nothing left over after the install. We were asked to install what you provided us with and we did. If there was not a fuse included with the product, that would be on the supplier you got them from for not including that. Let us know if you have any further questions on this.

I understand everything you’re saying. I also understand that you accepted the decision to install the lighting kit even if their was no fuse in the kit. In my eyes you should of stopped to let me know their was no fuse installed on the power line but you did not and continued with the dangerous install. You put my family as myself in danger as my truck was sitting right in front of my garage when it caught fire. I do not see where you can still continue to say it was not your fault.Sincerely,
