      This is a terribly unethical company. I spent $25,000 to install an iron fence and my neighbor contracted with Peerless Fence to install a wood fence against my fence. This company violates city ordinances by putting the structural side toward the neighboring property. The owner, *******************, doesnt care about the community, only cares about profits.

      Peerless Fence installed a cedar privacy fence on the property of our customer at ********************************* (the next door neighbor of the complainant).  The work was completed according to contract and all within city requirements.  The City passed the fence during the final inspection which is required after completion.

      In 2021 we purchased our current house and the previous home owners put at fence in 2018 by Security Fence ** in ****** **. In 2019 Peerless Fence purchased Security Fence **. This year the empty lot next door started construction, when the surveyor came out he let us know that our fence is 16 feet over the property line. I was shocked by this news and got the survey verified. I also called the city permit office to see if a permit was pulled for the fence and it was not. I then messaged the previous home owner to figure out who installed the fence and he told me Security Fence **. I called Security Fence ** and was forwarded to Peerless Fence. They told me they would get the matter resolved. After a few months of back and forth I am not getting any returned calls.I would just like the fence fixed.

      Peerless Fence purchased the name and phone number of Security Fence only.  The company itself shut down due to the death of its previous owner. We did not take on any liabilities of the business nor responsibility to previous work completed by the company.  We are happy to have a Rep come out to provide a quote for any work that needs to be completed.

      This company has a severe communications problem with customers. Phone calls and texts not returned. Date for installation was bypassed and no communication that they would not be coming. I canceled a dentist appointment to be home on installation date. I am the customer and I expect to be treated as a valued person: Refund my money and I will contact another fence company.

      On 6/6/23 we paid ******************************* $14808.38 which was full payment for a fence installation/ dirt rock removal. The business committed to me in writing that if the fence would come up shorter than quoted we would be refunded the difference. Also they committed to rock/dirt removal ($400 charge) (all in the contract and in writing) After the fence installation was "completed" the crew left without doing any of the dirt/rock removal. in fact they just spread it around my lawn so I had to go pick up rocks so I wouldn't run them over with the lawn mower. The fence also came up 17 feet shorter than quoted. I even told the quoter it seemed off as the crew showed up they had our shed on the wrong side of the picture. So really the quoter (*****************) just put a sketch together that wasn't accurate. The refund per linear foot should be $34.36 per foot (34.36x17=$584.12) plus the refund for non dirt/rock removal. ($400) We are due back a total of $984.12.Home depot/peerless fence at first seemed like they were going to refund us the money that we are due but since have gone radio silent and will not return my calls or emails which is why I am escalating this now. Why ***************** would just say anything to get the sale is beyond sad. I hope ******************************* wakes up and makes this correct.

      Fence is rotting crooked warped five months after install

      Peerless reached out to customer ******************* on 8/18/23.  We are looking to schedule a day week of 8/21/23 to have our Operations Manager do an onsite visit to assess any issues and address ****************** concerns.  ****************** fence was just installed in November of 2022 and is still under the 1-year labor and material warranty so any workmanship or material issues are covered under the warranty.  Prior to filing a complaint through the BBB, we had not received any report of issues or concerns with this from the customer.

      I have been trying to avoid filing a complaint on here. We've given Peerless several opportunities to do the right thing.We are in a battle with them currently for taking $7k from us for a fence, back in ******** still dont have a date set. They consistently ghost their clients. Their salesperson who came out was nice but deceptive. We told him it was urgent, we searched around for a company that could handle the job with urgency. Told us they could have it done in 4-6 weeks. Here we are 3 months later...I am livid at the audacity of how boldly & shamelessly the reps lie to the clients.If you read the other reviews from other customers they have been doing this to people for years & don't seem to want to take accountability. They take on jobs, give you an expectation and then do not fill it. We contracted them through *************** currently have a case manager regarding it, which doesn't seem to be much help. Company may come back and try and push this on ********** but Peerless is the company doing (or should say NOT doing) the job & who we've been communicating with. At this point, my husband and I are feeling pretty helpless with ever getting our fence replaced & it's been urgent since May. We have three ********** neighbors have several kids. With the storms we are supposed to have, it's very possible our old fence will fall down. If the job doesn't get done by end of August 2023, we want a FULL refund and no "15% restocking fee". Company needs to own up to their failure of communication & lack of professionalism.

      I initially contacted Peerless fence about our project on April 8, 2023. I was told that the materials I selected were in stock and that installation would occur 2-3 weeks after I entered a contract and paid in full. I promptly applied for a city permit and signed the contract with Peerless on May 9 (as soon as we got our permit). I paid $8,700 for the full project. At this time, the sales rep told me that the materials were not in stock after all so it could take 4-6 weeks for installation. I was not happy about this bait and switch, but I told the sales rep that I would accept a projected installation date in June rather than May, but no later. I explained that we are having a new baby in July and need the fence completed by then so our dog and toddler have a safe place to play outdoors without my close supervision. The sales rep thus included in our contract an installation window of June **** to be on the safe side, reassuring me that 4-6 weeks was more likely. On June 6, I was informed that the materials for my projected had not been shipped and that they werent scheduled to be shipped until June 20. As a result, Peerless asserted that my installation window was being changed to some indefinite period and I would receive a status update by July 7. I called to explain this was unacceptable and not in accordance with our contractual agreement. I asked to be immediately put on the schedule for late June or the first week of July so that they could install as soon as the materials arrived. I was told that this is against the usual company policy for scheduling and that late July (12 weeks after I began working with Peerless) was the soonest I was likely to receive my fence. I asked to speak to the scheduling manager, who I was told is ***********************, and the rep told me **** would be in touch. He never called and two weeks later still has not returned my direct calls or voicemails. This excessive delay in installation is causing undue hardship for our family.

      Delay in scheduling has been due to delay from the manufacturer.  Material chosen was not in stock so had to be ordered.  Manufacturer is behind so it delayed shipping to us.  This information was initially communicated to the customer back on 6/6 and again on 6/13.  Customer has been communicated that material has just been received.  Customer is scheduled for installation for 7/6/23.

      This business was selected for the installation of a fence. Upon completion, it was clear the craftsmenship was subpar in some respects. The locking mechanism on the fence was originally absent. Upon bringing this to the company's attention, I was assured this would be resoslved. we are now months removed and when seeking redress, I asked to be present to review the issues with a company representative; this company sent workers out without pre-scheduling or authorization to be present and on site of my property to address issues, yet reported to their office, all was resolved in consultation we me, while I was at work! Also, workers on site utilized electrical outlets from garage, in order to do this, they unplugged the extra storage refrigerator filled with food. They were asked to simply re-plugg this appliance when done. Whelp, they not only failed to do this, this cause considerable waste and spoilage of the refrigerator content. Overall communciations with this company to date has been atrocious, with, multiple representatives giving conflicting information. And finally, although it was promised that there'd be a considerable discount given in recognition of the continued hardships and difficulties,endured in my dealings with this company thus far, this company attempted credit card fraud, in that a year after purchase of this fence, they attempted to fraudulently charge an additional $1500.+ dollars on the card used a year ago, without authorization. To date, conversation with *****, ********, ****, and others have demonstrated there is neither honor nor professionalism behind the name Peerless Fencing. I as a customer could have been your greatest advertisment. They are Peerless in poor customer service, ********************** in poor craftsmanship, and Peerless in how they left me as a customer feeling, financially exploited, void in the delivery of a promised product, vowing never to use or recommend this company to neighbors and friends moving forward.

      In response to a complaint from ***********************.  Peerless Fence has been to the customer's house on four different occasions to address what ************** has explained to our Operations Team is that his wife leaves the gates open and the wind blows them apart because she does not close them properly.  We have added hardware to the gates and another set of drop rods on both sides of this gates.  We also issued a credit off his remaining balance of $300.00 for reimbursement the food that he claimed went bad in the garage refrigerator when it was unplugged.  Peerless Fence installed ****************** fence back in September 2022.  All the work was completed according to contract and ************* still owes a balance to Peerless Fence in the amount of $1,545.00 which we are attempting to collect.

      I ordered a $12k+ fence from Peerless on Oct 7. I used them because my previous fencer (who was excellent) now falls beneath this umbrella company. The fence was installed Oct 28. Immediately after, I filed a complaint with the company because virtually EVERY post was obviously crooked. Seems (in their rush) they put the traction on and stretched the fence before the cement was dry on the posts (as all the posts are angled in the same direction). The pin on the gate also wasnt done correctly and didnt fit into the hole in the driveway. I had to have a friend come drill it out more, but the hardware is also not correctly set so the pin cannot fall even if the hole is now ok. Ridiculous! My dogs got out a couple of times so now Im forced to use electrical wire to hold it shut.....lovely. I also had to install privacy slats but this just makes the crookedness of everything all the more obvious. I filed a complaint immediately w/ the company and and sent multiple pics. Ive checked back repeatedly over the last months, to receive either no response (usual) or 'its in process'. I paid my bill in full. I held up my side of this bargain. This company appears to be relying solely on volume and not on quality or customer service. Very unhappy with the mess this company made on my property, and especially their lack of response to it.

      Per our Operation Team, we had a crew out at the customer's property on Saturday, 2/4/23  and fixed the gate and the posts.  We reached out to ****** to confirm this and she was going to review the work since she had not inspected it yet, and would reach out to us again if she was not satisfied.  Have not heard back from the customer so the issue was closed out on our end as resolved.

      I paid ********** 14,000$ for a fence installment done by Peerless Fence that is not yet done. I made the full purchase 7/24. Wasnt done until 10/17 (original date 10/14) my date was pushed back from faults of their team not mine. Not only was there a significant lack of care and communication (please see uploaded documents for paper trail, dates, etc) the job itself was not what I paid for and the locks were discontinued and currently do not work (I have bungee cord holding up my brand new fence so the doors dont flop in the wind) one of the gates looks horrid and is crooked. After several complaints and promises they will fix it its been a month and its still not completed. Not only is it not completed but they also cut a main line having my entire block out of Wi-********* without it for 24hrs even after my yard was marked. (See documentation for proof)

      The crew returned on 11/15/22 to fix gates and locks.  Customer completed sign-off on job and job and job has been closed out from ********** as completed.  (See work order from crew and customer sign off)
