Horrible customer service. Service technician came to our office to install a new garbage disposal. We were quoted $405 knowing we didn't have a unit previously. The total invoice was $160 more than was quoted. When I called they stated they did extra work even though the invoice states no extra work was done. They told me they needed additional parts. Some of the additional parts hey charged us for was a power cord assembly. Why Power was not part of the original quote is beyond me. There is a functioning outlet 2 inches away from the unit. What's more, the technician came to us AFTER he had installed the unit saying he didn't realize until after he finished that we would have to have an electrician come out to finish the job. We are unable to turn the unit on or off! It is going to cost us an additional $300 - $400 to have a switch installed. Also not part of the quote or even mentioned prior to the work. This would have been nice to know before hand. Had we known they were not capable of completing the job we would have used someone who could. Now we are paying for 2 separate companies and 2 separate service calls. Over $900 in all to install a unit that we can't use yet. Definitely will never use this company again.
Pearson Plumbing, Heating & Pest Control Response

The customer had a very special situation; he did have an outlet but no switch. Pearson hired an electrician and did not charge the customer, even though we told the caller during the initial phone call that any extras are chargeable. I'm surprised to see this post because Pearson's went above and beyond with this situation.Review from Trudy G

After being warned by several neighbors not to call Pearsons as they have gained a reputation for overcharging customers I regretfully called them anyway as one morning my thermostat seemed to not be working. I was told a worker would show up between ****. After he arrived, he simply removed the thermostat cover and flipped my batteries around, mistakenly I had put them in backwards. THAT IS THE ONLY WORK HE DID. I thought we would have a laugh about it but he actually scolded me like i was a five year old and told me it would be $140! Are you joking! Sadly, he was not. On his way out he wanted to take a look at the new furnace I had put in by another company and proceeded to pile on and tell me I overpaid for that by four thousand dollars and should have used Pearson instead! Horrid experience and a completely rude man! I wish I could ******** dollars for flipping around batteries! Exploitation of a senior citizen and I will tell any and EVERYONE about this!Review from Gary H

Pearson has the best service and qualified technicians for sewer work and plumbing. They use first grade materials and equipment in work they perform.
