I hired him to put in a public meter. My basement and first floor were on the same meter. I wanted to have a meter installed to have one for the first floor and then one for the basement. The hall way light were supposed to be added to the basement to a public meter. Thats what the contract was supposed to read and what he was supossed to do. He said came and did some work and told me I had to call ***** and get the permit. even though I had asked him about that before he began work when I hired him. He cam and worked, i gave him a check then when I called ***** they said I needed some amps and voltage. HE had not provided those numbers and then had provided me with several different numbers. He eventually stuck a permit in my mailbox, saying it was issued on the 15th when he worked on the 10th. HE also put alot of things on the contract he delivered that didnt have anything to do with what I asked him for. I gave him a check but I canceld it because he stopped responding. I needed him to do the work he was contracted for. He wants money and finish the job I dont trust him and he said he doesnt trust me. So I do not want him to come back. I dont want him in my house.Business response

The customer is a nice lady, but I have a feeling that she doesn't understand how the work process goes.
I did 90% of the work and received a payment for 60% of the work, but the payment was declined.
When 1st stage of the work was completed I informed the customer that I will be back next week to finish the rest. I also provided her with information required by ***** company in order to get her new electrical service established. This information proved to be too confusing for her, so I called the ***** myself and gave them the information they needed.
I went there 2 times trying to finish the remaining portion of the work, but the customer did not show up. Now she does not answer my phone calls and not returning my messages.
I wish that I could go back there and complete the small portion of the work which remains so that I don't have to get my lawyer involved, which will escalate the cost for this customer as she is clearly on the losing side.
We offer a 1 year warranty on all our work and this is first time in 30 years that somebody has filed a complaint against us and is trying to fire us without proper payment.
I am still waiting for that lady to call me and we are ready to finish the work in a proper way.
