      I had Discover for over 5 yrs, I paid faithfully thousands of dollars every month. I decided to freeze my cards and I paid my full balance, Discover charged me $1.34 interested on the following statement and because I thought I had a zero balance I did check and did not pay it. Because I froze the acct. I did not check my account. ********************** charged me $30 late fee for 3 months for a interest charge of a $1.34, that does not make sense. They also took me took collections for $1.34 after spending over ****** a year. I did not receive a call and when I called them they told me they only call customers randomly, which did not make sense to me.. I went from almost having 8.00 credit score to 5.60 because of this **** card. I would never again apply for Discover and no one else should either.

      I'm very new to US and arrived in ** for work at the end of 2023. Then I applied for discover credit card to build my credit history with the country. I used the credit card to purchase things needed for my living needs and pay the bill on time - never late. Then on March 31, I noticed my credit card was closed with no closure reason provided. I called the company on Apr 1st and they told me that I will be able to get the closure reason within 7-10 business days and they promised me that they've already shipped the notification to me. On Apr 18th, I called Discover again since I still hadn't received the notification on closure reason yet. I was re-directed to 5-6 account managers during the call. At the beginning, they told me that my notification has been sent out and they have no idea why I haven't received yet. And the last account manager told me that notification has not been sent out yet and they have no idea on when the notification will be sent out. The mangement of the company is a mess!!!!!!! I used the credit card in a good manner but they closed that with no reason provided!!!!!

      I have been a Discover cardholder for several years. I have never missed a payment, been late on a payment and have always paid more than my minimum payment due. Last April I asked for a interest rate reduction on another card that is also covered under ********** They denied my interest rate reduction but just days later Discover Card reduced my credit limit by $1500.00. I contacted them and they said it was after a review they made the decision. I think it was because I asked for that interest rate reduction. Here it is 6 months later and I just received another alert that they had reduced my credit limit yet again this time by $500.00. I have continued to pay on time and more than the minimum payment due. By them doing this they are negatively affecting my credit score and my credit usage. I am afraid to call because of what they might do next. There should be a way to resolve this practice without it affecting the consumers credit standing. I am trying to do the right thing in a very difficult economy.

      Discover and Citi are the two worst banks I've ever gotten a credit card with. But let me stick to the subject, discover what bottom feeders. They saying I owe money and it went from 2000 to 3000. I am not acknowledging this because it's a lie. Past 6 years they been putting derrogatory remarks on my credit report like the little trashcans they are. 6 years they waited and just now sold my account to collections. dam right im not paying discover a *****. I hope they are the next bank to go bankrupt. POS company.

      Discover should be ashamed!! They cancelled my card without notification to me. My balance was $88, with $34 due on 4-18-24. I made an $80 payment on 4-16-24 (I pay all my accounts over minimum, and early). Next day I was embarrassed in Front of a merchant, when my transaction was denied . Discover offered no apology or excuse for no notification. They told me it was closed due to lack of activityeven though I had a balance, and made payment. My mobile app still worked and there was no notice of closure anywhere!! When I spoke to a supervisor to re-open my account, he said he couldnt, and I had to reapply! I boldly told him that I refuse to be a customer of an establishment that treats good, non-delinquent customers in such a manner! I want the world to know what Discover did, and I want a public, written apology!

      Tried to dispute a charge that was supposed to have been refunded. Discover accepted fraudulent proof from the company where they repeatedly forged my signature (in the wrong name may I add) and Discover outright refused to consider not using it as proof despite all of the proof I had on the contrary. Will be cancelling my credit card as on as possible and suggest anyone else who has one does too because this company does not care about protecting your money

      I am a client for many years. Faithfully pay my bills and as a family we carry large Credit Cards. At one point I had this card registered with a company named *******. This is a drop shipping company and I tried to use their services for my then online store. I paid my first year 288 dollars and then checked it out for 12 months. As I did not want to have it again, I spoke with ******* and told them I do not want their subscription and they told me that is no problem, the card was declined anyway. So the service was not paid. I was glad and then took of the Discover Card as payment method from *******. In 2023 ******* send me a receipt for a 288 charge for the new subscription. the very same day I spoke with a ******* representative and said I do not want this and they need to cancel. They said they will. Next thing I know the charge was approved by Discover despite 1. Over the limit and 2. Me not authorizing this charge. i spoke with a Discover representative and he or she tried to blame this fraudulent transaction on me! Literally. Needless to say, I have a hard time to get rid of this charge and my limit is overdrawn. So because of Discover I know cannot use my card and am short of 288 $. They do not care whatsoever and keep on charging interest on this charge. I like discover and we have huge credit cards there. But I am learning now that despite what they try to make you believe, Discover is about Discover and nothing else. Looking forward to have this card paid and get rid of this company. NO effort was made to help with this transaction. I pay my bill on time, never had any problems and do not otherwise complain. But this behavior and the way they handled this is no acceptable. Sad how little those folks care.

      I am trying to redeem my rewards. These are rewards that I earned and have a right to use. I have redeemed these online for multiple years. When I tried to redeem them today the website logged me out. I tried this on 3 different occasions today. When I called Discover tech support I was told to download Apple Watch browser. Discover has no right to force me to use another browser. The issue is I cannot redeem my $700.00 plus points.

      How is it legal for Discover credit card to charge daily interest and only put a small portion of a $200 each month towards the balance? Paying before the due date and only $60 go toward the balance which keeps it at a high balance and hard to pay down. I spoke with Discover with no resolve it just doesnt seem legal or fair to consumers.
