      The person that did the roof and siding estimate was good. Restoration Builders subcontracted the work to Kelly Construction of Pekin IL and it has been nothing but a disaster. 1. Clean-up: we had to call their office to have people from Kelly Construction come back to clean the site. 2. They replaced the wrong section of the siding to the home 3. After the siding was replaced there has been air entering the home from around the windows 4. The awning on the home was removed but not replaced 5,We coordinated a partial payment check between the lienholder and Kelly construction Needless to say they changed their pick-up person forcing the bank manager to drop off the check to Kelly construction 6. Failure to provide their final invoice. The collaboration between Restoration Builders and Kelly Construction is so unprofessional I would not recommend.

      Had a very nice friendly guy come to assess our roof. Said they could fix it for our deductible and the amount we got from the insurance company. Said he would talk to the insurance company about doing the whole roof on the level we had the leak. We wouldn't have to pay anything additional. This is the first time we ever had to deal with insurance or a vendor. We paid them the money. Took them 9 months to finally get back to us about scheduling the work, after we had to call them on a weekly basis those last couple of months. They acted like they didn't know who we were and told us the guy we spoke to originally didn't work there any longer. They kept stringing us along telling us excuse after excuse as to why they couldn't do the work. They finally came to do the work and had no clue what their person had agreed to. Very unprofessional. A month later we get a bill for over $1200 more! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Sketchy business practices.

      Hello Sarah, it's great to hear from you on this. We always appreciate feedback on how we can improve our process going forward. Our relationship with you began in fall of 2022. Insurance was only able to approve half of your roof to be covered. We offered to attempt to get them the full coverage of your roof, seeing as replacing half wasn't our favorite option either to help you out as the homeowner. Before we began this process, we asked if it was something you wanted to proceed with, knowing there was a chance they could still say no and only approve half. Turns out that is what happened: they stuck with half the roof. By the time they did this, it was too cold to replace the half of the roof that was approved. So, your project was pushed into 2023. Your husband called the office many times, and we explained that to properly put a roof on a home we need no snow on the roof and the temperature above 40 degrees consistently for a few days in order for everything to adhere properly. Despite explaining this at least three times over the phone and once in person, he continued to call us frustrated. Understand, weather is no one's friend in the construction industry, and we did everything we could to make this job a top priority for our spring schedule. Your husband spoke with every level of management in our office and was explained about the temperature. We never ignored a call or danced around a request. We continued to communicate every time he reached out. Your invoice on file for the money you owe us matches the insurance scope that was mutually agreed upon by all three parties. There are no surprises, there are no additional fees, and there are no hidden amounts owed. The total invoice matches your insurance scope of work 1 to 1. With that being said, we have reached out to you multiple times to explain this over the phone, but now we can't get anyone to answer our calls. All we have been trying to do is communicate as best we can. We understand and can empathize with your frustration on weather delays, but to say we did not communicate is wrong. We sincerely hope you reach out to us so we can resolve this issue and move forward on good terms. Thank you again for your response on our performance. Anything we can do to improve ourselves as a business, and also as people, we will always take and learn from. We hope you are satisfied with the work that was completed.       I wanted to compliment Kelly Construction - specifically Skyler, Mark and Dakota for their hard work they did pulling up my wet carpet and cleaning up, and getting me set up with all the equipment to dry my basement! They did an awesome, professional job. Thanks so much for beating every other company in coming to help me get things cleaned and disinfected! Your employees are the face of your company and be assured you should be very proud of the work they do!
