I was billed twice for services received in regards to physical therapy on June 7, 2021. I was also billed for a leg/knee brace. I attempted to resolve this by calling their office located in O'Fallon, Illinois, but with no success as it apparently does not occur to the office staff that sometimes a particular key on a keyboard can be punched twice. I have receipts for this visit plus charges for this visit showing on my July 2021 ******** **** statement. These charges were for $260.09 for the brace, and $40 for the therapy. What I want is the extra charge(of $40) to be forgiven.Business response

I am rejecting this response because:
IMO, the business or the representative for same is lying. I do have paperwork to support this. How could I get charged twice in the same session (for the day in question) for one service?

The Patient received 2 services on the date in question. One, the physical therapy, for which his insurance leaves a copay of $40 and one which was a durable medical product, for which we have a signed delivery ticket from the patient, for which his insurance contractually leaves a 20% responsibility. I will have our billing representative reach out to the patient again to explain that his insurance dictates that there are 2 unique patient responsibility amounts for the 2 separate services that were provided that day. We are happy to review this and reach a resolution with the patient.Customer response
