I was very pleased with the job. The crew was professional and worked well together. The only thing that concerned me was that, knowing that this job would take a full day, I expected them to arrive sometime early in the morning, as per my discussion with our salesman, *****************************. But early in the morning, received a text saying that they had picked up the materials but had another stop to make and therefore I could not be provided with their time of arrival. They finally arrived at 12:30pm, and were finally finished after 8. Is this a usual occurrence? To me, another stop does not mean another job! This is not only inconvenient, since I was told that I had to be on site for their arrival, but it is also poor customer service.Review from Ashley D

This was the second time our family chose Empire to complete work in our home and like before it was great service from everyone! I would like to highlight our contractor ******* because his team had another huge project to do however, ******* arrived on time and completed this 3 room job without his full team and did an AMAZING JOB! His communication and professionalism was outstanding! Our sales rep *** was informative and she listened and comprehended all the needs and concerns.Review from Antonette K

Yes. The crew went above and beyond on the job and how they treated me. My floors look absolutely amazing and I couldnt be any happier with the work. They did my entire main level with new floors in one afternoon. I highly recommend this work crew to do any job you need. Thanks for the outstanding work guys. Sales Rep ******************* went above and beyond to help us get the maximum amount of our floors done within our budget. A gentleman the entire time and actually listened to what we needed. Sales **** **************************** came to our condo to give us a quote on laminate flooring. When asked if the installers were employees of Empire, ******* said yes. That was the first deception. The installers are sub contractors. After the floor was installed, there were gaps at the bottom of all the door frames. When we asked the installers about the gaps, they said the new flooring is lower than the old flooring. We thought this was something ******* should have told us about, since we were confident we werent the only customers that would have this problem. We sent an email to **************** stating we were not happy with the situation. He immediately responded with That is a unforseen thing with replacement flooring. That was it. We responded with ****,That is a blanket statement and we dont agree. Im sure we are not the first people that have had an issue like this. This absolutely should have been brought to our attention, as you are the professional/expert on flooring. As a customer, we deserve to know all the pros and cons of replacing our flooring. ThanksAfter that email on a Thursday, we didnt hear back from him until we sent another email, on Friday, stating we were disappointed we had not heard back from him. He responded with My manager says you can call the 800 # and set up a post install service. He apparently didnt care about us as customers or he would have called us or sent responses that showed he was a professional that wanted his customers to be happy about their decision to go with Empire. He got his commission and moved on. I called the 800 # and left a message. The person that returned my call stated that situation is in the contract and theres nothing that can be done. Truthfully how many customer actually read the contract? That is something a professional/expert on flooring should mention to a potential customer.We feel we were deceived on these issues and as customers making a major purchase, we deserved better.Empire Today, LLC Response

The worst company Ive ever dealt with. They promise you one thing and cant deliver. I had a signed contract for a certain material and price. They called day before install and said they didnt have material That if I wanted to install I would need to upgrade my order to a more expensive floor and they needed to know right now or wait 4- 5 weeks. Wed had no floor in 1/2 of our home due to water damage. We had no choice. So we had to pay another ******* They showed up on the last day of install the installer said we were a room short of material. They made a mistake on their calculations. Now they want another *******. Thats almost 3k more than we expected to pay. I felt like these were ploys used to get more money out of us. As they knew we needed floors installed Empire took no responsibility or blame for what happened. I would run as fast you can run from them . High pressure sales atticsEmpire Today, LLC Response
