      on or about 12/6/23 i made a purchase from ***** ****** on my Mercury Mastercard, RL processed a duplicate charge for this item. I spoke with RL who advised me the duplicate charge would be refunded. I return the item purchased 12/9 and received confirmation from RL that the item was received for return and credit processed on 12/19. As this point I noticed RL did not refund the duplicate charged so I contacted Mercury Mastercard of resolution on 12/19. I open a dispute case with Mercury who closed my case stating the item was refunded, however it was the returned item not the duplicate that was refunded. I re-opend the case on 1/23 , followed up on 2/3 and on 2/11 noticed that RL finally provided my refund for the duplicate charge. The issues was resolved until 2/13 when I was charged $890.38 (445.19x2). I immediately contacted ****** to advise of this charge and a manager told me the back office made a mistake a recharged both amounts due to an error thinking i received provisional credits which i never did. The manager advised that it will be fixed but it was not, only $445.19 was returned not the full $890.38. I followed up on 2/25, 3/5 and 3/7 and no resolution has been achieved. I am clearly owed the additional $445.19 and Mercury continues to charge me interest fees on this amount that is not mine. I need assistance getting this resolved as Mercury is not helping at all. My case number with them is C-******

      I received an offer for a pre-approval at my old address in Nov 2023. I responded and filled out the pre-approval and was approved.I did not receive my card after waiting the alloted time 10 days after pre-approval. I was finally able to add my new address and the company accepted my new address and even sent the credit card to my new address express mail. Mercury Financial charged my credit card for $25 that was taken from my limit.I received the card with no problem. Then I tried to use the card on Dec 16th for $700 or a little more charge and since then my card has been under review. No Fraud was committed and I am a good paying customer and my card is still locked. I have dealt with several reps that have been rude and hung up on me. I have been ******** lied to. I have several conversations recorded with their reps ******** lying to me. I don't understand what is the problem let me use my card that you approved me for and stop playing games.They keep lying telling me they are expediting my complaint to leadership and they will not contact me so they can stop defaming my character by accusing me of fraudulent transaction activity. If they don't fix this soon I will *** them for character defamation and false statements and fake promises by their unprofessional reps.I will *** them for causing me mental frustration and belittling me.

      This is a formal complaint against MERCURY FINANCIAL located in ********, **. This company has repeatedly violated my consumer rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and has caused me much unnecessary financial AND mental distress. For starters, they're reporting an erroneous & unverifiable collection account on all 3 of my credit reports, Transunion, Experian and Equifax not to mention an account in which I've asked for proof of claim and in which they have refused to validate per my request under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Despite my efforts to resolve this unfortunate nightmare for nearly a year now, MERCURY FINANCIAL has completely ignored my communications and legal submissions to remove this inaccurate information from my credit reports. I am well aware of the many, many other complaints filed against this company for their illegal and unethical collection practices - disguising themselves under multiple business names and using ILLEGAL collection practices all across the country. Yet, somehow, this company is still in business. This company's unprofessional & negligent behavior has caused lots of serious harm, not only to my ability to establish credit & good interest rates, but also to my character as a Professional and as an individual. Please help me, and the many other consumers just like me, to put a stop to the operation of these unethical & immoral business practices immediately. I sincerely appreciate your time and assistance in this matter and hope to hear from you very soon.

      I recently discovered an unauthorized inquiry on my credit report dated [Aug. 04, 2023]. I did not give consent for this inquiry and have no prior dealings with the business in question. I have contacted the creditor regarding this matter, but there has been no response from their side. Please investigate and remove it from my credit report promptly.

      I contacted Mercury about my credit card ending in **** on August 24th, 2023 because my credit reports reported that I had a $0 balance for my statement balance that was issued on August 11th, 2023 and then Mercury credit card also reported that I had a balance of $2,083 on August 21st, 2023 even though they're only supposed to only report my statement balance to the credit bureaus once per month according to their customer service when I call them on August 24th and 25th. Mercury **************** contacted me on August 25 to confirm that they had completed their investigation. Mercury has claimed that they can report a high utilization or high balance of over 30% of my credit limit to the credit bureaus per their terms of service. This is illegal and I've never heard of a credit card company doing this. They told me over the phone that per their terms of service that they are allowed to send a notification to the credit bureaus more than once a month. Even though my statement hadn't been processed yet they did this and now it dropped my credit scores with all three bureaus. I have a touch screenshots of everything to this complaint as well as all the email correspondence I've had with Mercury. They are not accurately reporting my statement balance to my credit report which they updated my credit report on August 12th and they should have never done anything after that for the month of August. The current balance on my credit report is inaccurate. This is bad and they need to correct the reported information all my credit report to the statement balance of $0. I have also attached my statement documentation for August 11th, 2023 to this complaint.

      Company has a fraudulent account on my credit report. Someone has been using my information since February 2022. I need this company to remove the account from my report quickly.

      I pay my account on the 3rd of every month unless I get paid early yet they hold my payments until after the due date so I can get with a late fee they also start calling at 7:45 AM and wake me up for $27.00 Please process my payments when they are received, I never had a problem when this account was with ******* Bank but since Mercury Financial took over my account I have had nothing but problems and as soon as I pay off this account it will be closed! Please refund my late fees!

      I opened a credit card with mercury financial in 2021 the interest rate was. 24 percent and now they have changed the rate without n my knowledge at 31 percent i pay my bills on time I have been paying a 100and 7 dollers a month and they take all of it for interest not putting any on the balance I was not warned of any of the increase of their high interest rate and when you call all you get is a call center with no manager to speak to they tell you there is none and cant explain anything this company is predatory lending . I. Want the interest rate droped and speak to a manager they keep putting up high fees every month without the customer knowledge making it difficult to pay back please help .

      On 3/30/2022 I made a reservation deposit for $1,070.28 to my Mercury Card ending in ****. The card was fraudulently charged and closed shortly after, and a new card issued ending in ****. On 8/17 I cancelled the reservation and received a credit on 9/13/22, returned to the original card ending **** (copy attached). The credit was not transferred to the **** account. On 9/16 I called Mercury asking about transferring the refund to the current card ending in ****. I was told it would be **** business days. I called Mercury again on 10/13 and asked for status. I was told it would take **** business days. I called Mercury for the 3rd time on 10/25 asking to escalate the issue. I was transferred to someone who stated they didn't see the funds at all, and then indicated they did see the transaction, and was unsure why the credit hadn't happened but that it would be **** business days and that was the best he could tell me. I did not receive the credit to the new card ****, and have no access to ****. On 11/9 I called Mercury for the 4th time, inquiring about the status of the credit transfer. I insisted on escalating the issue and was told that couldn't happen, that I could not be given the number for the escalation department, and that it would be **** business days. I insisted and waited on the phone while the agent contact the escalation ***** The escalation department did not come to the line or join the call, and told her to hang up on me. She briefly indicated the investigation would take up to ********************************************* the escalation department. The agent told me she was getting yelled at to terminate the call. I insisted that if they wanted the call to end, they needed to join the call and provide resolution. At that point, the call was disconnected by Mercury. I have not been given a case number or any tracing information throughout any of these calls with Mercury.

      You've submitted a complaint for a wrong company. We are not Mercury Card. We used to be Mercy Financial, and the business has been closed for over 10 years. Please remove the complaint and resubmit it for the right company.

      December 24, 2020 I rented a car from **** rental car company using a family discount code from my husbands job that makes the rental come up to $174/week on January 4, the car was involved in an accident. I have full coverage car insurance. The adjuster from **** went to look at the car 10 days later January 14,2021 accruing storage fees for the 10 days the car sat there making the cost charged to my car $1500 and change. My credit limit on the card issued from Mercury bank was on $750 yet Mercury allowed **** to charge my card more than double that amount! I immediately called and tried to dispute the charge in addition to letting them know intricate details surrounding the transaction. Today is July 15 6 months later I CALL ALL THE **** and still I have no resolution they are sending me offers to settle the debt for 55% however I do. Not feel like that is a fair amazing because I do mot feel like I owe them. PLEASE HELP
