    I wrote a check for $8,400 as a deposit on September 19th for new windows. Velemere is the window salesman who told me they would be installed within 6-8weeks. It has now been 11 weeks and I dont have an install date. They have my windows on hand but they keep putting off my window installation for larger projects. ******** keeps saying hes working on larger projects when I talk to him. I want my windows, even if I have to hire someone else to do the installation. He has made promises that have been left unfulfilled.

    In May of this year we contracted with Elevate Windows (owned by *****************************) of **********, ** to install 11 windows in our home for $21, 500. On May 8th of this year we paid a deposit of $10,000. As of November 15th the windows have not been installed. We have had many communications with ****************** in which he tells us the installation is forthcoming but so far no luck. Our preference at the moment is for the installation to occur but we will also accept a refund.

    In April of 2022, my wife and I paid a 50% deposit of $7953.52 to *************************** of Elevate Windows and Doors to have our front and garage rear entry doors and doorways replaced. We did not receive delivery/installation or hear from them in August 2022 as promised. After allowing a few months to go by, we reached out to ******* several times by phone and email with no response. In November of 2022, I then looked up their physical addresses and went to visit them in person. I was shocked to find that their **********, ******** location was unmanned and seemed not to have been in sometime. I also went to a location that the had listed and no office nor a name on the directory. I left messages with their actual answering service and with the representative of the company that oversees the building at ***********************************************************************. After threatening legal action, we received an email from ******* and a call from the owner *****************************. ******* apologized and promised delivery in December of 2022. After not hearing from him again, I contacted him in March of this year, and he told me that he would contact his manufacturer and call me back. I told him that I preferred a refund instead. I never heard back from him. For the better part of the next year... 2023, I have received nothing but empty promises of the installations every 2 or 3 months. This past August marks 1 year since the first promised installation date and no installation or refund has occurred. Only empty promises. I have no intention of ceasing to call or and will exhaust every measure possible to get my money back. This a complete nightmare or dare I say a sham! I am a disabled veteran that has made the mistake of trusting what I thought was a reputable business to do as advertised. I am really shocked to see that there are so many other complaints that sound exactly like mine.

    On the 10th of October 2022 I signed a contract with Elevate Windows for the replacement of 24 windows in my home. I provided upon signature a deposit equal to $12,750. The contract stated 8 weeks from order to installation. I still havent received an installation date after so many requests to proceed. At this point it is clear that Elevate Windows cannot complete the job and have breached the contract. I demand Elevate Windows to refund the full deposit amount of $12,750.

    We ordered 9 windows from Elevate Windows on February 17, 2023 after a consultation with *****************************. The total cost was $22,743.16 and we agreed to put down a $11,371.58 deposit using a check. Our contract is documented as Quote 5VC28LM.Velimir per the contract stated the installation schedule would be approximately 8 weeks from the order date. He verbally told us the install date would likely occur in April 2023 and planned to do a lead test of the walls as an added safety check prior to the installation.On March 30 I reached out to him via text message to check on the status and to also confirm a time for a lead test. His response took 4 days. We asked if he could come the week of April 10, but he could not commit to a date. I reached out to him again on the 10th and we agreed on Thursday April 10 at 9:30am. He did not show up and agreed on the next day. He never showed that Friday and did not communicate he wasnt going to show or offer a new time. We messaged him again on April 18 for an update on the lead test and window installation. He arrived on April 19 and completed the lead test and found no evidence of lead. We asked about the installation date and he claimed the order was delayed and would not commit to an install date. We reached out again on May 24. NO RESPONSE. We asked for a status update on June 19 with a response back saying he would update us in the next few days. We reached out again on June 23 and no response until June 24 that he should know after today. No follow-up from him and we asked again for an update on June 27. NO RESPONSE. Tried again on June 30 and he did end up responding saying he hopes to have a date for install confirmed by the following week. No follow-up received and sent messages asking for an update on July 6th, 10th, and 11th with again no response.We have lost confidence in this companys ability to perform the work we requested and would like a refund.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    The options to resolve the complaint is to either provide a full refund or schedule an installation date and complete the work with financial reparations to compensate for the extreme delays. I can understand there can be delays throughout the process, but this is excessively late with no professional courtesy to reach out proactively to gives us an update or an effort to prioritize my job ahead of others.  I have yet to receive any communication back since the last response here and generally have had great difficulty in receiving communication. I am hoping you can understand my frustration and you will do everything above to help ensure this issue can be resolved in a timely manner.

    In March of 2022 I ordered two ******** windows from Elevate Windows for a total cost of $13,258 and paid a deposit of $6,629. I received no further communication from Elevate all spring and summer. Beginning in August I made multiple attempts to learn the status of the order. I was finally told in October that the order was still in process but received no information on the likely installation date. In January of 2023 I reordered the same windows from Renewal by ********, and they were installed in mid-April. Elevate has been promising a full refund of the deposit since March of this year but has yet to provide it.

    The Homeowner ordered custom aluminum windows that passed the estimated lead time. We did our best to accommodate the homeowner. Unfortunately we dont have power over manufacturing. There was an issue with aluminum resource material  at the time customer paced an order. He did tell us he went with ******** basic fibrex composite windows. He was sold aluminum. This is what I tried to explain to him. I did speak speak with the customer last week and promised him a refund. I am happy he was able to find a solution that worked for him. We wish him all the best. He will be getting a refund check in the mail next week.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    The response is untruthful.  The conversations that Elevate Windows claims to have had with me did not occur.  We never discussed aluminum shortages or any other reason for their failure to deliver the windows.  I did not order fiberglass windows directly from ******** instead of aluminum clad.  

    Elevate has been promising a refund for months.  Stating that a check will be mailed in the next week is not credible given this history and the other misrepresentations in the response.

    ***************************** demanded a 50% deposit in the amount of $7209 and then was unable to install windows he claimed he would do. Finally we demanded a refund after many months of delays and excuses from him about his *********** and he gave us a check that then bounced for insufficient funds. Has yet to remedy the situation whatsoever.

    Attempted to respond to the businesss response which was false on multiple levels. Business failed to provide service under pretense that business owner had medical problems and such. Then wrote a bad check for a refund and has not remedied the issue whatsoever. BBB site shows resolved. This is false. Issue not resolved.

All the information provided is accurate from myself.  Everyone can speak for themselves. Customer did receive $5000.00 refund and will be getting the rest shortly.     Placed an order with Elevate Windows on 3/23/2023 for 3 doors. A deposit was made in the amount of $8,900 with the total price at $17,800. I was informed doors would take 4-6 weeks to receive and I would be contacted around the progress/status. No one from Elevate Windows has reached out and I have tried contacting my sales rep ***************************** for the past month with no response. I have sent an email to his email address, called his number at ************** and left a message, as well as called his business number. There appears to be a contracted answering service for his business, and they have stated that they will get in contact with ******* and get me answers but no one has called me back.
