Additional business information
Please understand that you can file a complaint with the BBB now or at any time during this process. It is our hope that Danley's Garage World will resolve the matter for you in an expedient manner.
On 5/13/2021 and 5/21/2021, BBB asked the business to substantiate claims appearing on its website and Twitter profile that they are "Chicagoland's #1 Garage Builder Since 1959" and "We are proud to be the leading Garage builders in Chicago and the Chicagoland Area." BBB’s Code of Advertising requires advertisers to possess substantiation for objective claims. BBB is awaiting the business’ reply.
The BBB Code of Advertising states:
28. Objective Superlative Claims
Superlative statements in advertisements about the tangible qualities and performance values of a product or service are objective claims for which the advertiser must possess substantiation as they can be based upon accepted standards or tests. As statements of fact, such claims, like “#1 in new car sales in the city,” can be proved or disproved.

Danley's Garage World Response
12/19/2023
Throughout our entire process, we showed you photos and videos of what to expect during the various phases of construction. As with all of our projects, we also called and walked you through the approved Building Plans and Permits before we began construction. If you feel that any phases of that process were missed, please call us at *************. The construction videos are also available for viewing at any time on our website: www.danleys.com
As you were made aware during our initial presentation, we are required to trench through your yard in order to lay the proper electrical piping. That piping needs to be buried at a certain depth per your local codes, and your village inspector also verifies that depth prior to passing the final building inspection. We returned to your property and filled in that trench after the inspection was completed and passed.
Regarding your comment about finishing the wall, based on our last conversation, you were expecting the entire the entire garage to be drywalled. As we specified in our introductory meeting and on your contract, we were required to add a single firewall to one of your garage walls for fire protection due to the proximity of that wall to your neighbors property line. Other than that single fire-rated wall, we did not include drywall in your building plans for any other areas of your garage. ************ clear on our contract and during our pre-construction call.
Respectfully,
Danleys Garages
