Crooked awful thieves. They bait and switch you with inflated hidden fees and then threaten to take your car if you don't pay. Once they have your car in the hook/truck bed they hold you hostage. Don't use them.

Today I had to used the service of this company worst experience ever and racist people I ever encountered and scammers one day your going to get some one really mad no wonder you have the worst reviews I should read them before I called you calling me stupid Mexican and that my truck is a piece of s*** I had never had this kind of service dont want leave a star cause you deserve none

These guys were awesome showed up and solved my car problems.

I called around to get quotes before having my vehicle towed. Mightys wasnt the most affordable but had a better time slot(which was an hour late). The quote that I had gotten from calling the business was originally $95 for the tow/dispatch and then $2/mile. After my vehicle was picked up I received my invoice to my tow. This was nothing what I was expecting. The quote I had gotten forgot to mention there was a $20 fee for them to get my car on top of paying a $15 gas charge. And to top it off they ended up charging $4/mile. When I called the business confused why I was being charged so much the employee tells me that the per mile charge is $3/ mile. So i ended up paying more than I was quoted the fist and second time. You would think a quote would include everything from gas charge to per mile but apparently this company will tell you lower then not drop your vehicle until you make the payment. I would 100% not recommend this company to anybody.

On 05/18/22 my semi truck broke down at ****** **. I hired tow service - Mightys Towing & Recovery Inc. (** DOT *******). They forced me to provide credit card info, otherwise they refused to come down. After tow service was completed, they requested to pay $585.00 and $45 fee for credit card use. When I asked to remove the fee, they offered to send money via Zelle wire transfer. I attempted to send money through Zelle and for some reason payment didn't go through. Tow truck driver didn't go away and after 15 min warned me that I need to pay now or they are going to charge my credit card. Then I attempted to send money through Zelle again and two (2) payments of $585.00 - $1170.00 total went to their account. All my attempts to get my money refunded through the phone were turned down. Then I decided to go to their office to the address provided on invoice and ilsos.gov website - ******************************************************************************. I found there is another company at this address. Nobody knows where the towing company located and where is their physical address.

I contacted this company for a tow on which they told me they would arrive in 30 minutes. 40 minutes go by and I call to check status. They inform me driver hit traffic it will be another ***** minutes more. I told them to cancel the tow and Ill go elsewhere. They still charged my card stating the charge is justified because they were on the way. This company is getting people in by giving short time frames of arrival and taking their credit card information. Thus, insuring they can then arrive whenever they want and still charge the customer.

Use this company at your own risk! They will rip you off, rob you blind they did it to us! Our truck refused to start in ******, ** after being parked 3days in very cold freezing temperature mind you the truck was perfectly fine before parking. We called mighty' s towing since they were the closest. After an attempted jumpstart failed, tow driver advised that it was probably due to jelling up of the diesel and oil due to the cold and suggested towing truck to the shop put in a warm environment to 'thaw it out'. Driver lied that the closest location was in **********, ** but I had already googled and saw they had one just 1.4miles from our location. He agreed to tow us to the ****** location. I waited at a hotel since they wont let you accompany them to the shop so that you wont have an idea if any work has really been done to your vehicle. I called them about an hour later only to be told that the issue was my switch in my push button and they were already in the middle of working on it, no consultation or communication before work started at all. An hour later got a call truck was ready they charged us $937 for 1.4mile tow, $675 for attempted jumpstart which is ridiculous. Only thing they did was change the switch in my push button a $200 job absolutely nothing else but our total charges were $2313 because according to their invoice which am uploading they spent 3hrs at $225/hr. doing the jumpstart, we have proof they were only there for an hour, 2.5hrs for 1.4mile 8min tow at $375/hr. and 2hrs at $185/hr. replacing a switch for our push button which is very accessible and easy to do since its an aftermarket installation could have been done in 30mins by a novice. You don't have to take my word check for yourself they are a solid F rating on BBB and the complains of being ripped off are very similar to our experience we will be filing a complaint with BBB and we will make sure no honest, hardworking people fall victim to these guys at all of their locations.
