      This the worst of the worst regarding property management companies. My contact is a snarky, lazy, immature and disrespectful man who has no business in customer relations. At every turn he tries to blame the homeowners instead of trying to resolve any issues we may have. I am very close to reporting this organization to HUD. Avoid this company at all costs (literally)!

      Advocate Property Management in ********** has a wonderful, helpful and efficient employee in *******.She is located in the **********, ** office and is always ready to help and resolve issues in a timely manner.

      Im a condo owner of sierra ****** condo association. ************************* is the property manager ***** ***** does not follow the rules or contracts in place. 3/6/22 there was a failure in there roof & my condo had mold and mildew growing in my unit.**** refused to file my claim and used the hoa funds to pay for the damage. When I complained about my personal property damage I was locked out of the online payment portal. First **** emailed me she would file my claim then she redacted her **************** me a bill for the damages. Next I received and eviction notice for unpaid ************************ dating back to 2020. There has been three different accounts of my property being damaged from *********** refusing me M.R.R. For my personal property damage along with not reporting to their insurance. My garage foundation is ruined along with the walls still and Ive spoken with ******* about my service request but she always states **** is in charge. **** has violated my contract with management and association along with using board members to stalk and harass me. The couple in the unit below me are members of the board and has been working with **** reporting taking pictures and filming me, along with calling the police to file false reports. I confronted **** via email, When I confronted **** yesterday about the harassment and being stalked by members of the board, she never denied it only aggressively stated that i should be moving soon & i shouldnt be harassing people. I then then asked **** to prove it. This condo association along with their property manager has falsified documents with the courts in regards to the assessment amount since 2020 ***** stating that it has been $350 monthly, without proof. *** also asked **** for a list of board members as the woman that lives in the unit below me continues to knock on my door claiming she can do what she wants because she is a member of the board and has been living here going on 12 yrs.

      I recently had to resolve a problem with my HOA and ******* was very helpful in doing this. I was always able to get in touch with her with her returning my phone calls promptly. She was helpful and made addressing this problem easy. I was happy to have someone who was easy to get in touch with and who was always helpful and cheerful about helping. Thank you, *******!

      They claim to record the calls for customer assurance. Clearly they do not care about homeowners. They do not handle situations in a timely manner and will give a whole lot of attitude if you dare question them about the process. This time it was *************************, the property manager for our association. Shes rude, dismissive, and condescending. Called about a washer that kept breaking and leaking onto the floor (for months), she said that she would send someone out this time around. This was Friday. I heard nothing all weekend, I gave it time and by Tuesday after hearing nothing, no email to homeowners, no call to follow up, I called that Tuesday. ****** picked up, she placed me on hold to ask the manager ****** with the response of please be patient. Was I not patient already? Now our hot water is out, I call in and get sent straight to ****** because Im sure they dont want to deal with the dissatisfied homeowners that she is supposedly representing. No good afternoon or any other pleasantries, unpleasant immediately. I try to keep it simple and be kind just asking if anyone has reported the hot water being out the past couple days (I sent a report in about it Tuesday morning but was not in the office). Today is Wednesday, ****** stated that they received a call about it last night. I then also ask about the process and how long these things usually take as Im hoping that this isnt another be patient situation. ATTITUDE. Im going to do my very best to communicate with my community and find a way to get the old management company or a new one, Advocate does not care, they think its funny when you get upset and make rude comments and act surprised if you get upset. They will take no ownership over anything, poor communication about anything going on. I recommend taking pictures, note date and times of your calls. Record calls for your own record as well. Unprofessional! Not a smallest bit of empathy, we are without HOT WATER in our homes.

      These people are absolute crooks. First thing first, my mother (who is disabled and a current cancer patient), pays 300/month in association fees to them. However, they do not maintain the building at all, the buzzer was broken for 2 months before they fixed it, the lights outside were out for another 4 months. However, my current situation is the straw that broke the camels back. On Christmas eve there was a pipe burst in the condo that led to leaking in the two condo's below my mom. They cut off, water and told us to call a plumber to see if its our pipe. Weird but fine, we called everyone and anyone, without luck for 3 days (that's 3 days without water for a disabled women) with ZERO help from them to bring their own plumber. We finally get a plumber and paid $500 our plumber saw that is was one of the main pipes that is actually the building. We sent that information to the association and then they sent their plumber the next day to double check. Their plumber also came to the same conclusion and stopped the leak. We were then told by the condo association manager we would be reimbursed. Now here we are over a month, and not only have we not been reimbursed (breaks several parts of the 765 ILCS 605 condominium property act) now they wont pick up their phones and talk to us. My recommendations are to stay away from ANY condo's that they oversee as they are just out for a paycheck and not for the best interest of their tenants.

      **** the manager is professional, knowledgeable and kind.Advocate is a great industry for helping all the customers.Carmise is very kind and caring too.Carmise has personally helped me with her patience on my issues to resolve them.***** the front desk is awesome and has great communication skills!I am extremely impressed with **** and her staff!Thank you!*************************** A homeowners customer!
