Update on my review..******* from Homestate reached out and put forward conditions that I firstly remove my review and secondly I meet them in my bank, and then they will take the bank checks ( (which means they will immediately cash my check without me receiving my payment)). I am so tired of dealing with *******/Homestate that I am thinking about closing my claim with the insurance company and replacing my roof out of pocket. Don't make the same mistake as I made. This company is JUNK!!-------------------------DO NOT sign a contract with this company unless you are ok with sub-standard work on your roof! This company represented me in a roof damage claim to my insurance provider. After approval of the claim, Homestate offered to put cheap IKO shingles on my roof, with no warranty on their work. When I asked for warranty, I was told that they do not offer it and I can buy it separately for additional price. For lesser cost than Homestate, I have other roofing companies who are certified (through roofing manufacturers) and gave me quotes for roof replacement with much better materials like GAF, Malarkey etc. They are backing their work with 10 years of labor warranty.Since Homestate wasn't willing to stand behind their work, I asked them to take their 10% adjusters fee and let me use a different roofing contractor for the work. They have since withheld endorsement of my insurance checks for 6+ months now. They say I should pay them first through Certified Checks and then they will endorse my insurance checks. I have offered them regular bank check but they refuse to take it. They also refuse to take their name off the claim and I fear that they will keep adding more to the insurance claim to make money, which could result in insurance company dropping my policy and me as a customer.My recommendation would be to stay away from Homestate and find yourself a proper roofing company that is not a storm chaser!Review from Joyce H

I had an excellent experience with Homestate Adjusters in the replacement of my roof and highly recommend them! They were so nice and professional. And what I loved the most is they did all the paperwork and communication with my ****************** So the process was easy and fast! ******* looks great and I have the confidence of no further damage to my home due to their excellent work! Thank you!

One of the company representative has been harassing us about pursuing our homeowner insurance for a roof replacement claim. If the harassment continues, we will have no other choice but to go to the next level against this company.Homestate Construction, LLC Response

I just had my roof replaced by Homestead, and I can't be more satisfied with the service. ******** did an amazing job, was always accessible, knowledgeable and responsive to all my questions.The roof was installed within a few weeks after we first discussed.Highly recommend!!Review from Matt C

Thank you Homestate for getting me through the process of getting our roof replaced after the damage it sustained. Would not have wanted to do it with another company. Homestate Construction/Homestate Adjusters is excellent company to work with. We had no clue how and when our houses roof was damaged by storm or hail. The companys personnel came out and help us to determine whether the roof was damaged and/or our insurance will cover the cost for replacement. They inspected very detail from the roof, around outside the house, siding, gutters, and windows and inside the house from ceiling to all walls All they need was our home address and phone number. From there, they represented us to file the claim with our insurance, get permit from city/village and handle everything from the start to finish and everything was done absolutely professional. There were many people involved during the process including the company owner, material delivery gentlemen, and roof installation team all are very professional. However, our case was handled directly by ******** who did a fantastic job of explaining very detailed and everything to us before the process started. She did exactly what she told us so you can expect more but not less from her. She kept us updated in every step, from claiming, getting permit, scheduling materials delivery, roof installation and approval from the city. We have a new roof now but we actually did not have to make a phone call or do anything. All works were done by ******** and her company. Thank you all very much for your hard work and all what you did to help us. I highly recommend Homestate Construction/Homestate Adjusters and ******** to anyone in need of roofing and siding repair/replacement.SangHomestate Construction, LLC Response
